How to shop at sephora Tip1: go in there knowing what you're going to buy. Horse blinders is key. Tip 2: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BROWSE. Tip 3: go right to the checkout counter after grabbing all your necessities. Tip 4: run out like hell after purchasing because you will be tempted to spend your entire life savings, pensions, retirement funds, life insurance, children's life savings, and your dog in there.
yup if you have an important event and need a photofinish foundation just ask for a little sample and use that! no need to spend 50 bucks for a bottle of high coverage foundation that cant be used for everyday :b i did that for my 18th birthday :D
This is something I've figured out from shopping online and in stores at Sephora. Idk, if other people have noticed too. So if certain products come in a travel size, I suggest you compare the full size product to the travel size. Let's say you're comparing two travel sized to the full size and the travel one is always half the amount, but the price is not always half. (BTW, the prices are in CAD) For example, the SmashBox Primers are $20 for a 15ml tube where it's $50 dollars for a 30ml tube. If you can see if you bought two 15ml that's 30ml but you're only paying $40 instead of $50. I've also seen other products like Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and MakeUp ForEver primers. The Dr. Brandt Pores No More primer was before but I don't think it is anymore. I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say, but definitely thumbs up so others who want to save some $$$ can see this!
I think I understand you. You're saying that if the full price for say X amount milliliters is $50 but if you look at the travel sizes and it's just a little bit less and they're charging $20 each, buy two travel sizes and you're only paying $40 and you're getting the same amount of product that you would have paid for the original. Love sephora ❤ My husband hates taking me there because I can't seem to spend less than $200 each time. Was just there a couple days ago and the lady gave me a bunch(6) of free testers and things to try. Literally the best experience I've had! Definitely recommend them over ulta.

Nobody has a way of knowing if you can pay or not, and I doubt anyone would be judging you. I'm a broke ass. One time I went in with like 7.00 and bought a face mask and left with my birthday sample along with several other samples :)
i feel the same, i'm 16 and when i walk in i feel like everyone is judging me for my age lol, even though i'm pretty darn tall and i wear a lot of makeup haha

RavenLynae I don't experience mean employees, but I find the store to be a little hectic and busy. So I would go to the counter in Jcpenny, it's not as crowded and I actually get a chance to have a full friendly conversation with the employees.

Looks By Rachelle I don’t blog but when I’m in public and do something embarrassing I just remember that I’m most likely not going to see those exact people again and they aren’t going to do anything and it’s only a one time thing. Hope this helped because my thumbs are going to fall off 😂

Well that's because USD converted to CAD is different. 15 USD in America is the same as 20 CAD, so technically nothing is more "expensive". Shipping tho sucks

Love this video because i loove shopping at sephora. My other favorite hacks are becoming a beauty insider (its free and you can get points towards free items. Plus you get a free birthday gift) and asking for samples (you can sample masks, foundations, etc). Also I definitely open the bottom compartments ALL the time lol. Thanks for the great video!!

They usually make a fuss because they know you won't buy it immediately but they're obligated to give you a sample. In the UAE, they R E F U S E to take used foundation back so I always go in like "you won't let me return it if it doesn't work, and I know y'all do samples, so just give it" and like during my extreme broke days I legit survive on samples I took from sephora and MAC
