I am a shortie midlands girl , who purchased a dress , long enough for a leggy debutante., intending to shorten it , keeping all the lovely hem detail . When I realised how daunting a task this seemed to be for friends , I decided to video the process , to show them how to sew it. It’s not a great technical production of a video, but hopefully you can see past that , and receive it as it’s intended… to give you confidence to try.
