This is brilliant, thanks! For me, it's not the look of the tongue, it's that the long tongue gives me blisters on the front of my ankle from rubbing - this is a lifesaver!

playing soccer growing up i would just undo the laces down two then simply fold the tongue over, make sure its tucked, then lace again…there’s no discomfort

Def way to go with the Busenitz is you skate imp. Which is a skate shoe modeled after the samba but they kept the long tongue with a cut line.
