Thank you so much! I used this fake shredding technique in my local nursing home, and all the old men covered their ears and yelled “they’re in the trees!” I guess they love me, and I didn’t even have to shred! First step to booba in face is dentures in face I suppose!
@@anotherbigfootwithinternet2147 he played very interesting and melodic solos, Suere sometimes he liked to make noise and nothing more, but the chord progressions are interesting and the melodies he sang were outstanding, not a guitar god, but not a bad player AT ALL
Lol I actually did start playing guitar "for the ladies". I played for like a month and wasn't really into it, then my new gf in 7th grade that I really didn't know at aaall was told by my best friend that I played guitar and she was like "wow thats so cool!" so I was like fuck now I need to actually start practicing damnit (and was kinda pissed that he told her cuz I obviously sucked lol). Obviously am now glad that this happened, but it's hilarious in retrospect.
I can't leave a good enough review for this. My car broke down and I'm a broke high schooler. I have no game regarding women, I have no credit score, and my cat put ME up for adoption. I've sat in my room playing the first position of the A minor pentatonic hoping it would make up for my lacking personality... but it did not. Then I stumbled upon this video. Not even 10 minutes later my depression immediately went away. My bank account rose to never before seen figures, my parents love me, and my cat no longer disowns me. I went outside and my car was out fixing itself. But most importantly 7 women showed up at my house, topless, and asked me to play for them. I did. I used all these great tips. I now have 7 kids. Thank you so much twooba. You saved my life.

if u wanna shred just familiarize yourself with the neck and play what sounds good,,, u can memorize some scales along THE ENTIRE neck in order to learn how to navigate the neck and stuff the most important part tho is playing the key ideas of the song u want to shred over, that way you use the scales u knows to float around certain sounds and then next thing u know ur not just shredding but playing with meaning
You know what? Imma be honest I’ve been playing for 5 years, play Jazz for my Highschool, understand even the most unorthodox and special jazz solos out there, and I’ve never knew how people get that chord sound that I hear in country music, rock ‘n’ roll, blues, RnB. I really live under a rock mane.
It’s the progression that gives them that tasty shiny natural crunch. All the chords work together that makes it sound so crisp (not guitar tone, but the sound the chord makes on any guitar)
These techniques do have a similar style to Johnny Greenwood imo. Do these things and add a bunch of delay, chorus, and wah pedals and it sounds pretty cool.
I really hope you teach. You should be getting paid to teach. I think you would be great at it. Never change. Also, the chicks is absolutely the reason we play.
