Once the veil has been lifted, once you see what they really are, it’s game over. You can’t unsee it, you can’t delude yourself any longer. If you try to go back - and you likely will at first because the trauma bond is so strong - it’ll only be more painful as you know you’re betraying yourself. The narcissist is the most powerful teacher you’ll ever have to learn about yourself, your patterns, your upbringing and wounds from your past and childhood. But the jigsaw will only fully fall into place when you’re ready. Usually when you’re exhausted and ground down so much that you know something has to change. It is within you. You have the power. You’ve always had it, they just sucked it out of you bit by bit, gaslighting you into submission. This experience has changed me, taken away my innocence and vulnerability. Now, instead of trusting first and being betrayed, manipulated, burned, walked over, I withhold trust until someone earns it. Boundaries are everything. I’ve never had them until now. This is why narcissists are so exhausting. You spend your entire time trying to reason with them and apply logic, but they're not interested in anything you say. They feed off the emotion with which you say it. The more extreme the emotion you display the more they like it.

4 things you only need to know, 1 you will never hurt a narcissist, trying to do that they will feed off it and will always win.. 2 ignore them, they hate it and want any sort of reaction from you. 3 get on with your own life, stop trying to get revenge on them, it makes you no better than them, and the best revenge is you finding true happiness and them seeing that you have it. I used to really weep , and weep,and yes! He definitely got off on it. Scary to think that someone could be so nasty and vicious that they'd revel in the pain they cause.Better to show NO reaction. It takes away the sick little thrill they get power tripping on you. Yank that away from them, and refuse them their pleasurable dopamine hit. That's incredibly frustrating for them I imagine ( and hope) . Take back the power. Poker face too. Be boring and don't even bother talking about them with friends or acquaintances who knew both of you, because otherwise that person will feed that back to him or her.Be at peace. You've got this.

Well, once again I sent a comment and it disappeared! I don't know why this keeps happening and it is getting extremely frustrating! Anyway here's what I tried to say! Firstly, I wanted to thank you, Melanie, for this video! The second thing that I tried to say was how remarkable it was that this video came along today! The narcissist had sent me a nasty email and it really upset me and I was really frustrated. I sent the email to my lawyer and he gave me some really remarkably simple advice which absolutely correlated with the contents of this video! His advice was to "simply ignore her"..... after hearing those words I was able to inact some of the knowledge and practices that I have learned in NARP and I was very thankful for that. ❤️🦋❤️ There was a temporary shift and a good one....🙌 I was able to turn within rather than flailing around upset with what she is doing again! I initially could feel my energy dissipating and once I started turning inward that stopped.... this was a very good lesson to learn today and thank you so much for this video, tonight! "Psychic vandalisation"!!!!!!!! That is such a perfect phrase Melanie. Brilliant. And it really describes the effect a narcissist has on you. The narcissist I went out with was actually a psychic. I think she's really thrown out some very negative energy to me since I blocked her. Actually I had a couple of days where I felt so bad I thought a spell or curse had been put on me.I'm not kidding. I only went out with her for a year but was love bombed completely without realizing it. I've been pretty cut up about it, although I'm pretty sure she had other supply throughout our relationship. Miss lady!!! You better preach ! I love this !!! I needed this . My bday weekend started off horrible ... My 5 year old sons dad only starts arguments when it's close to holidays or family events (my side of the family) my bday and it's always *I want to get my son * with out proper scheduling that co-parents should have in place even without the courts *this last draining encounter happened a day before my bday April 9th 2021... He comes to pick up our son *3 hours late* he asked to talk to me and not in front of the kids and I went to my room and he followed me and said we can go outside and I told him no the room is fine and he started off his speech with I know you come from a good place but I'm going to need for you not to send me no more positive messages or affirmations because your not my girl... Holy moly I was so thrown off .. I stood up and told him "say less" and he got upset and told me I'm acting just like his daughter's mom and we will learn to stop disrespecting him and let him get his communication through* the only thing I kept repeating was I'm not ever going to stop praying for you... And the devil won't win NOT TODAY SATAN. And of course the argument went on . He took our son for a couple hours and brought him back even when he told me he was going to take him for two days, my daughter also noticed that after I told him you cannot have my energy you better get it somewhere else she said he got more upset. I didn't even notice that because I was involved in the argument. This is real life and affects a lot of people I think you for spreading light and giving your wisdom. I appreciate you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet! 💯

These narcissts could be lost souls or struggling souls themselves down here on Earth. Being used as tools of evil evolution. They are responsible for themselves. Their fight against righteousness is with God. We seek not ever our own revenge. But letting go of the ties that bind us to that which is not, nor ever was our destiny. We can forgive and let go. Severing the trauma bond to complete our tasks more efficiently and angelic like here during this life. We must remember this is our temporary home. This life journey is meant for duty and services to others. Not in sacrificing of our own selves nor our souls. Love everyone, yet some, most may be best from a cautious distance, or maybe even prayers from a far. Lose the toxicity of what we know in our hearts is not righteousness or God's way. I overreacted to a perceived threat, as I'm a little gun shy after all I've experienced and I was able to regroup and go back to the drawing board for my channel that is trying to support me as an underserved human, and perhaps some narcissistic abuse victims, if they come back after I dropped them to go back with my ex. Thank you so much Melanie. I just did the writing exercise and will repeat again three times in cursive about fifteen minutes prior to going to sleep. I feel a sense of true relief and empowerment already. I've been going through an absolutely life altering module which I purchased before I knew I don't actually married to a narc . One of the suggestions Dr. Jim Richards given in his preliminary "Heart Physics "module is to write out the same sentence in cursive approximately fifteen minutes prior to retiring every evening. I'm a Believer in the Lord Jesus and the main purpose of the module Dr. Jim created is multi - fold. First it's a guided biblical meditation that one does in the am while still in the alpha state. ( one goes to their Secret Place to meet with Jesus. Mine is the beach. But this could be anywhere one desires.) Throughout the day I write out times, places add situations where I gained and lost ground. This is to identify self -sabotage. We only rise to the level in every area of life which we believe in our heart's or the subconscious which we actually feel that we deserve. confidence, financial, career ,relationship.... There are three main purposes to this part of the teaching module. To reach a state of deep meditation within a few short moments for a intensive and profound relaxation. The second is to completely take all limits off of God and self ( rooted in religion ,unwise choices, trauma ,and the like.) Thirdly, to write new truths on what Jesus referred to as beliefs of the heart; what the world might refer to as the subconscious mind. The latter aspect is about taking all limiting beliefs off of self as one begins a glorious journey of restoring one's former creativity, which most of us have slowly and painfully, over time ceased to even operate in. For me, it's been barely survival mode and I certainly didn't feel the sense of dignity, and worth I once did. About fifteen minutes before bed time, I write the same sentence three times in cursive. This is for the purpose of cognitive reinforcement and transformation; to believe restoration and beyond are possible.. This is what I write, " I always awaken daily and continually know, feel, and experience the perfect love, joy, and peace of my Papa God ." The writing exercise came with a bit of a warning. You will very likely have vivid, but extremely positive spiritual dreams.It's been amazing I definitely have. Dr. Richards has advanced degrees in Energy medicine, counseling, theology, and business. Honestly, this isn't an advertisement for these teachings. He's simply a very great friend of my pastor. I feel extremely grateful to have come across him ,his books, but especially this invaluable heart work. But I can say this,without my faith and these meditations, I would never have had the courage nor the wisdom to have sought out help nor sought out your channel for answers, nor would I now be making this journey to heal from multiple traumas and especially for narcissistic abuse. I especially thank you Melanie Tonia Evans. I can't thank you enough for sharing your experience, wisdom, and expertise in healing, inner work and exceptional tools for thriving after narcissistic abuse. That's so true they don't care at all calling them out does no good that might be why i feel so drained all the time there so good at sucking the life out of me they find the littlest thing to nag me about and sometimes i feel 80 instead of 35. I've seen grandmas with more energy then i have its exhausting. Not responding to them or just killing them with kindness usually repels them but they always come back its hard not to respond to some of it.

By using NARP I have been able to go no contact and only use a third party in the forum of a solicitor. Its so empowering and liberating. I am no longer effected by the ridiculous individual. Narp has enabled me to regain my soul,my life ,my sanitary.

Thanks for this. I spent 10 years having my husband break me down to the point where I was suicidal and had to be hospitalized in 2016. He cheated on me and dumped me in May of last year and I've been sleeping on the couch since. Our dog has taken my place in the bed. It's demoralizing. I'm trying to get out but I have no income. I so wish I could just wake up and leave. I'll try to utilize these steps and see how it goes.

Some narcissist/sociopaths are so smart, they KNOW they’ve annoyed or hurt you and THEY KNOW u are deliberately NOT giving them a reaction, and they would ask you more questions to provoke you. So even by shutting your mouth, energetically, they know they got you. So how do you deal with this?…. I alaays try to avoooid then at all cost! But they seem to know your every step, thry seem to feel you are avoiding them 😵‍💫

I defeated the most recent smear campaign in my life without saying a word. The narcissist went to 75% of my colleagues and made up lies about me. I kept silent, did not react and in just 2 days (yes you read that right-normally smear campaigns last for months or years) 90% of the flying monkeys were disarmed, bored and decided to abandon the narcissist.

The only reason I'm here watching this video is that the "I miss you" hoovers have recently started after 2 years. They've been going on since New Year, and it's almost Easter now 😂 This is a covert narcissist so he's patient. Little does he know I have practiced my calmness and MY patience during those last 6 years. And not to mention such rich knowledge I have attained about NPD thanks to beautiful people like Melanie. These narcissist parasites never give up. And they cannot bring any positivity to your life, ever. So don't question or doubt yourself. You KNOW what you saw and experienced and it was 110% real. I'm so proud of myself to not react in any shape or form, I'm just frozen, no vibe, no hints, no reactions - NOTHING. This time around, he really must feel the energy cord is cut off because in those last 6 years I have not witnessed such a 'desperado' level he's at. And that's exactly why the hoovers are getting even more desperate each day. I wonder how long it will last? It's just hilarious to observe.
