This video shows you how to make a pair of VERY simple DIY mud pattens out of mud shoes (much like homemade snow shoes) for walking in tidal flats, through swamps while exploring land, or for mudlarking in general (while perhaps looking for antique or vintage bottles, artifacts, or whatever treasure). All you need for this project is a drill, saw, a few lengths of rope, and some scrap wood (plywood is easiest, but planks will work as well).
