Now that you've built your own 3S balanced battery case, why not use it to simultaneousluy charge 9 18650 lithium ion polymer batteries. How to build a 3S balanced battery case - link here: • How to make a 3S batte... Enjoy!
*This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*
awesome , im in the process of making a 75,6volt lipo for my moped , right now ive connected 3x 6s 10000mah in series , im using a bms , for balancing , so i could add 3 more in paralell i will get 75,6v 20000mah right ?
I feel grateful this reconditioning program ru-vid.comUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 was started. I had Three dead batteries scheduled for disposing of. Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.
How long should it normally take to charge just 3 lipo batteries with your setup? Can you recommend the best settings for fast charge rates with these type of batteries.?
I can crank up the charging current from 0.01 A/h to 5 A/h. Obviously, the charging current should not exceed 80% of the battery capacity. Most of these batteries have a capacity of around 2000 mAh. I stay in the sage side and usually charge them at 1.5 mAh. So with this setting it should take about 1 hr to charge them.
The batteries must have been almost full when I filmed. My charger throttles down the current as the battery is charging. But you are right, with 9 batteries in parallel I could have gone to my max charging current 5A.
Here is a dumb questions I have the same charger but where did get a 3 bay 18650 cell balance battery caddy I have been trying to find these everywhere. Or did you make your self if so how many thanks for any help
I forgot to ask would the mAh after charging be the total of the 3 batteries? So if a a single Lipo should be say 2000mAh then a 3s setup like yours should be 6000mAh after charging?
Correct answer but to different question :) Peter asked "3s", in which case the answer is NO - you'll get triple the voltage, but same capacity. So to get triple voltage AND triple capacity, one would need 9 cells in 3p3s config, right? And to charge them (assuming standard 4.2V and 1A per cell), you would need 12.6V and can go to 3A without overloading individual any cell (assuming they're balanced I mean).
