Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.

Ummm clearly you dont use Amazon bruh...there's like 10 adapters to do the same thing for like $20 no drilling required.....clearly NOT a real Apple person doing this video.
okay, innovation is great - smart move for you - but there are $14 adapters that clamp onto the stand that'll do this for less than the tools to do this with.
ShowHowCast what size screws and bolts should I get . Also if you drill a straight hole instead of a threaded hole ... won’t it be secure if your using a bolt on the end of the screw ?

I would have discharged the battery before opening it up. Just in case that you puncture a cell, or do a short circuit, there is no so much energy stored and the fire will be smaller.

Hi. I have a question. Do you think a small gimbal like this could run off of a 9-volt battery? (I’m new to this, so pardon me if it’s a dumb question). It looks like a standard 9-volt provides about 500 milliamps for roughly an hour. Seems like that would be a great solution for quad otters and such. Thanks.
Only worth it if you value your time at about $0.25 per hour. Otherwise get a new pack. Why would you want to mix cells from packs that have a different number of cycles, and at that age probably a vastly different IR. You're just begging for issues.
