I just realized that I was holding my hook upside down and now I have made my fist stitch (edit : nvm I was tricked by the gods and there is now yarn across the room I’m sweating and In tears and am actively resisting the erg to strangle myself with the yarn)☺️🥹

I know a little bit about crocheting and I will say if I was a new person into crocheting I would feel like she's going to fast I definitely feel like she's going to fast and that in the future she could go slower but it is helpful if you slow it down Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this♥️
it's basically making a loop, and put the connected yarn (to the yarn ball) and put it halfway through, I could upload a video on how if you like even though it's been a year. it's hard to explain through text
Just hold the end of the yarn with ur right hand and then pick up the yarn with ur left hand only with pointer and middle finger then twist it to make a loop then take your thumb and put it inside the loop then from there take the piece of yarn lying and pull it with ur thumb and pointer fingers and tighten it and you have a slip knot hope I helped sry if it was a bit confusing 😕 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤hope u get it ❤❤❤❤
I dont wrap the yarn around my fingers. I hold it however i want, the wrapping just makes it harder for me. I just learned how to crochet today and i already used one whole ball of yarn, haha.
watch a couple of tutorials or suggestions, on how to hold your yarn. it takes a bit of time to find your most comfortable way to hold your yarn, hope this helped

Hey yk the best way to make a circle instead of the magic circle everybody does cus it’s Soo hard to learn just chain two then single crochet into the first chain then you can inc or dec to make it whatever size you want it’s a easy what of make a magic ring😊
Help! I have followed the tutorial but the beginning row was way too tight so I restarted whit big loops and it was still impossible to stab the hook through 😭

So I started to do this but got really confused when you started to actually crochet, could you maybe to an even slower version on how to actually start the project??
