I have other drills that I will share that are less aggressive. Just start with what you can do and turn up daily. In my prime ( 30 years ago now 😂) I had good range of movement so I did lots of drills as I found them straightforward. I know lots of others who found them harder and because of that they avoided them. Just stick at it 👍

Loving the 'off the bike' content. I now do single leg teeth brushing, and a short activation routine as a pre-ride warm up, definitely helps. P.S. many thanks for answering my Zone 2 email. Malcolm.

great advice coach, I see many riders favoring/loading their right side - especially under fatigue or higher efforts, so riders have adapted this compensatory style to all their riding. you'd think there would be quite a bit of power lost from this wonky style. how to fix, coach?

Coach, can you share which bicycle you ride? Brand, model and year size? Im 5'10 and ride a 56 specialised road bike. I remember you saying you ride a 52 or 53 which got me thinking how can there be such a difference in bike size with the same height unless the Geometry is completely different
Hi, I am sane height but never ridden anything other than 52 or 53 and I also I ride a 50 TT frame! Two bikes I ride at present are 52 Kinesis Lightweight and Orbea Orca Aero 53 👍
@@BulletproofCycling I did a quick Geometry comparison online between the orca aero 53 and aethos 56(mine). The orca aero 53 has 10mm shorter reach, 17mm lower stack, 15mm shorter toptube and head angle 0.7 degrees slacker. Is that a huge difference?
@@nafizz1701 the stack change is always more than reach and this catches a few folks out but aero bikes are generally lower. Reach can be 3-5mm different in each size. Seems small but stack can be 10mm. However the real reach is from your saddle to all parts you hold. All parts AND not what you feel comfy with. So you may have long torso and long arms but you may be shorter in the legs. 👍👍
As someone who wants to watch your videos, I want to tell you something because you lost me at a little past 1 minute. I didn't watch after that. The reason: In my opinion you took too long to get to the title of your video...you didn't address the 'how' in the time I watched...only the 'why'. If your title is 'how to sit better and cycle faster', you will keep my attention if you start with a 'how' and include the 'why' during the video. If you are going to start with 'why', put a 'why' in your title. I hope this comes across as constructive as well as critical. Thank you.
I've started to do a bit of yoga work off the bike. Also when I start to get tired on a ride and posture is starting to fail the key things I say to myself is pinch the shoulder blades which I find puts us back into good posture

From your lessons I always remember B.A.R.D.: Bend elbows, Arch my back, Roll my hips forward, and Dance on the pedals. It works for getting me down and aero.

Hey coach, how about some follow along exercise routines. Like a 5 minute of 5 mobility exercises to improve your posture on and off the saddle. We can work out with you twice or three times a day.
@@tonynekrews I whole heartedly agree. At 74 I'm not the fastest nor am I am ultradistance cyclist. Though I do ride Audax up to 200k, as long as I finish inside the time limit I'm happy and grateful.
Yeah, I’m 64 and still ride everyday. Only competition I get involved in these days is with myself, and I challenge myself all the time. Never felt better. I find age is largely between the ears for most people
