Can you do a video about your thought process to your video and how you plan those shot please. Btw i really like your style and the way you edit. Big love !!!
Rad video Gaku! I would clarify something though. It is physically and mathematically impossible to record a shutter speed lower than your frame rate. This is an absolute mind bender maybe but think about it. If you are shooting 24 frames / second, than there is no time for a 1/13th shutter for every frame. Sony's do a great job of simply duplicating frames when you drop the shutter below the fps. You can do this effect on most video/cine cameras as long as you change the frame rate to be the 'shutter speed' you want. And then in post you'd have to play it back at the respective timing. But wanted to send this out there, because I've been experimenting with the Sony a7s iii and Red Gemini. The Sony will duplicate frames, or essentially slow down the frame rate, but the LCD playback is sped back up to make it look 24fps. The gemini you have to simply lower the frame rate and it gives a similar effect, not as smooth as the Sony though. Either way it's rad and a beautiful technique.
Does this works on all cameras? Because I have a Fuji xs10 but it doesn’t let me drop below my fps 🫠 my camera is at 24fps and the shutter speed stops at 1/24
My camera doesn't go below 1/24th for video... it's for a fujifilm xt-5 , is there any way I can get slower shutter? Does Sony just let you shoot below 1/24th or is it a certain setting? thanks
No I didn't....but we can do it in post production and it turned out to be pretty simple...but still it didn't still seem to be similar to the one shown in this video!!
