Do you prefer using spring twist or water wave hair to wrap? And was is easy to take down this style using spring twist hair?

I prefer spring twist hair, the hair is actually soft and gives me a real distressed look since it’s literally like a spring. Also budget wise, water wave hair is way expensive for me just to wrap it around if that makes sense. Also yes, any locs are easy to take down. You’re basically going to do a reverse version as you were putting them in. No scissors! To refrain from cutting your actual hair, I hope this helped!

Thank you! I used 2 packs of the crochet locs, 1 pack of the spring twist to wrap.

Does the Mayde locs not let you pull your natural hair through with the crochet hook?

I mean you can, it's just it hurt for me to being that my braids were really tight and the mayde locs loop is bigger than the bobbi nu locs loop. I hope this helped!

for me personally I usually don’t put the braid through with the loc so it doesn’t get as bulky

Hmm thank you, I’m going to look into it. I have more in now (in a copper color) and I didn’t braid my braids as tight and they aren’t as bulky. Thanks for watching!

@@shlandriaterriell8624 maybe you could tru twists? I’ve seen some folks braid the roof but just about 3-4 rotations and then twist the rest.

What length did you use in the spring twist hair?

I cannot remember but I believe they’re aren’t lengths at my local beauty supply. But either way any length would work because you could always wrap around another strand of the hair! Thanks for watching!

Honeslty, I cannot keep my hair in for too long but I will say with proper maintenance 2 months. Wrapping it every night, oiling, and wearing a bonnet with any water encounter. Hope this helps, thank you for watching!
