I also think it came out a little different because you used the honey blonde c41 and she used honey blonde 10.0. i used honey blonde 10.0 on my whole head not too long ago and it came out the same as hers.

Looks good. When coloring hair the results are dependent upon hair health , porosity, diameter, and the color level one begins at.

Hi. I'm trying yo understand EXACTLY what you did do. Did you use the same Honey Blonde dye ALL.OVER? If so, did you keep the dye on the same amount of time for both the top and bottom sections? Also, who was the person you were inspired by? I went through the comments as others asked but found no answer. Do you have any tips or advice? I'M hair is fine, low density, bought 2x boxes dye.

Hi, the perimeter of my head and top of my head are 2 different colors. In the video, I tell you the 4 top sections is the color honey blonde and I kept the color on until it was to my liking. It definitely was on longer than 45 mins. Also, I cannot find the video I was inspired by. Tips: do your roots last, as they develop way faster than the rest of your hair. Because you mentioned that you have fine hair, I’m not sure if you should keep it on as long as I did, but keep checking under the foil until you see the color you like. I’m not an expert, but I hope this helps.

Yeah you should prob wash it normally then when it dried you dye it, then wash the dye off❤

You needed bleach. You were trying to make your hair lighter using dye, which (as you saw) doesn't really work. You needed to use a 20 volume developer and a good bleach for the areas you wanted blonde. It's possible for you to get away with using a dye for the rest of your hair (the 4 sections you wanted to be a little darker than the blonde). But dye and bleach are not the same things. Lightening your hair effectively takes bleach. It all looks the same color because there's not enough contrast. The box dyes were too close together in color and your hair is WAY too dark for what you wanted to do.
