Quick note as well - Twilight Princess on Wii has reversed maps compared to Gamecube.. left to right switched so is like a new game if used to playing Gamecube version.

Ok, So first .. THANK YOU !! I was getting ready to soft mod my vWii (Wii part of the Wii U) after watching your previous video. But then the next one in your series was this one. I perform the steps outlined here and without softmodding the vWii the Wii game worked right out of the Wii U menu. That saved me a ton of time. Just a question, Why would anyone soft mod the vWii when you can just do this ?

There are a lot of apps that are on the wood homebrew that's not on Wii u but honestly the best ones work on Wii u. This is my second Wii u and my first one I got when it first came out I modded but modding was not where it is now with the Wii u. Pretty much everything back then besides loadiine was on vwii. But on my new one I have not touched the Wii side of the console. I'm gonna soon just to change the theme

After messing around with this injector for a little while, I realized it's easier (and faster) to inject Nintendont itself and put the clean GC isos in the /games/ folder. Play off TV on the Gamepad or WiiU Pro and GC controllers with official or mayflash adapter without the need for extra configuration. If you don't have a fast pc, fast connection and just your sd card instead of hdds, you're set.

@@theearthling unfortunately, that’s the one thing people can’t help you with... there are reasons. But I’ll tell you this, In the injector, it says what you need. Go and look at that. Make that your quest.

did you use haxchi or tiramisu? You only need to relaunch CFW if you installed haxchi. Because you can set tiramisu to autoload in 2022 :)

So i do all of the file work on an sd card, but suddenly for WUP gx2 i need a usb instead? does everything have to be on a usb or can i just have an empty usb in while i do this?

I can install games running Mocha and everything usually installs fine on my WiiU screen. I've been able to install an ISO of Kirby's Return to Dreamland with no problems. However, I've tried several other titles and when I try to run them, I get a black screen saying that the disc cannot be read. Anyone else having this issue? I run Mocha every time before I start a game.

I think you need to download the digital copy not the hard disk copy, as they are programmed different, in nintendo switch thats the case (NSP is a digital copy of the game and XCI is the physical copy) , i'm still trying to hack my Wii U through Mocha

I find it funny how my Wii U just randomly got better after a long time since I installed Hakchi or whatever is called on my Wii U on a NDS game, plus, this gives me a reason to use once again my classic controllers for the Wii and Game Cube games (aside from Smash Brawl and Smash 4 for the most part), a shame we can't use the actual Game Cube controllers on Wii games on Wii U, but... I can't complain for the most part, especially if I end up my bro. to borrow either my Wii or Wii U.

Don’t worry I had the same problem, all you have to do is go into data management and move the game over to the system memory instead and it will work!

Thanks for the video! I'm having an issue though: when I load the game, the Nintendont screen appears and it gets stuck on the "Initializing virtual memory card" screen, I followed all the steps of the video, even retrying from the beginning and it did it again. Any help?

Ahhh, I had a similar problem. The solution for me was to simply disconnect my wii u gamecube adapter when booting any game and boom. Problem solved. Hope this helps :)

No game keys work for almost every game from all of these sites on the ISO's I use. I am completely baffled now. Even for Wii games when I try to use programs that want the game key. I am doing all the steps right, it appears that the game keys do not match my games. Why? And or where is everyone getting the right game ISO to match the keys on these sites. Anyone kind enough to lend a helping hand? The keys don't match my games.

so I followed everything correctly, installed my games with WUP GX2 while in mocha cfw and I can play them to first time I launch them. But whenever thereafter I launch wii/gamecube my screens goes black and I have to hard reboot my system?? Please help! p.s I am launching into mocha cfw each time I attempt to launch a new game

You need an usb drive if you want to install to usb drive, else just install to nand

Guys, I installed Tiramisu on my Wii U, so I have Nusspli, wupg controller mod and homebrew launcher in my 'install' folder. When I copy a gameube game in the 'install' folder and go back to my Wii U, I can't open up the homebrew channel nor the wup installer.. Can someone explain why please?

OK, so I installed Super Mario Sunshine, and I ran into a slight problem. When I tried to use the right control stick to move the camera, it moved VERY slowly. So slow that it's practically unusable for actual play. Also, the Y button wouldn't work. I tried on both my Gamepad and my Wii Pro Controller, and they both had the same issues. Any suggestions?

Question: Sometimes when I run the Wii Games on my Wii U. It start and I get the normal load up screen with Wii briefly for a couple of seconds then it turns black and the Wii U reboots. I fixed it once but a a stroke of luck (by moving it into NAND - Reddit suggestion) but I wanted to know if there's a proper way to fix it permanently (because the issue came back)? Note - yes, I obviously used a mocha/haxchi before playing. BTW, I would greatly appreciate any direct reddit threads or links that about this. I heard its re-ocurring issue so....

Whenever I install the application to my USB, it goes to a black screen when I open it. Whenever it is on NAND it works fine. Even if I install to NAND and move to USB, it still doesn't work. A black screen appears and after about a minute the Wii U restarts. What do I do? I do use Haxchi CFW.

Details, continue, quit) buttons That’s all it says and it does that with every single game that I try to do that is GameCube😬🙄

Hi! I'm having trouble with wiiVC injector script 3.0.1. Followed all your stps, started to BUILD...around the middle there's a error message saying can't follow the path for wiiFC injector/sourceTEMP/isoextract. What am I missing or doing wrong? The game is a wii one, Mortal Kombat Armageddon and the file is a .nkit. Help please!

This was great man. Any advice on fixing the "failed to create memory card file" that pops up on nintendont? So far the only fix I've found is unchecking the "memory card emulation" but obviously that leaves me without an ability to save my games. Thanks man!

Whenever I boot up a Gamecube game, the whole system just crashes, whether its installed to either NAND or the External Hard Drive, Wii things seem to work fine though. So with a bit of digging, this seems to be a problem caused by the most recent Nintendont build, this one from December 2018 seems to work though.

Two questions. For Wii games if I have already downloaded Rythm Heaven Fever through USB helper will that effect the injected games at all? Also for Wii/GC games will games mapped for the gamepad work with the pro controller for wii u as well?

No problem. USB Helper make the same process of Injection in WiiU Format File, GC and Wii Games.

Hey, I have a nintendont vc injection that takes me straight to the nintendont menu but it says no memory card is inserted. Any idea how to fix? Also how do you exit a gamecube game once it loads? When I press home button in a game the whole console freezes and I have to pull the power plug to turn it off.

I injected Animal Crossing into my hard drive, have Nintendont in the right place, and booted into custom firmware, but whenever I launch the game, I just get a black screen and nothing happens Anyone know a fix?

For some reason I found that if the adapter for the gamecube controllers is plugged in along with a hard drive (that your games are on), it just goes to a black screen. If you unplug the adapter, the game will load. The problem I'm having is then you can't use the adapter. When I plug it in after the game booted, it won't allow me to use the controller with the adapter

hey, not sure if you're still replying here.love your videos and laid back Canadian swagger.so I've done everything according to your video but when I am installing the WUP file from SD card to USB it gets to 100% and says access failed no usb storage attachedI have an external HD connected via a y splitter cable, I am able to install wii u games to it but cannot get the gamecube or wii wups to work, any ideas appreciated

Hi can anyone help, I have WiiU games and teconmoon “Wii” games on the same harddrive, WiiU games load fine but I just did Wii Sports through teconmoon and the screen just goes black and my wii remote won’t connect either So I have turn off the console at the power source. If anyone has any ideas or links to new usb loaders gx or something please help I appreciate it
