Here I show you how to do a soft reset of your Uconnect system in your Mopar product. This can come in handy should the Uconnect not function properly. I'm doing this on a 2017 Dodge Charger.

Hello, thank you so much for sharing the information. however i am still having some issues. everything connects to the bluetooth but as soon as I try to call someone, the voice disappears, same thing happens when i receive a call. i have to switch the call to my phone and then talk which is a quite a pain while driving. do you have nay suggestions. I'm my V6, I don't have performance pages, however, my camera didn't work at first. I did a couple of start/stop cycles and it came back on.

@@John-rk8dv none of my stuff was working, my radio screen suddenly had blue accents and was saying “Chrysler” until I reset it per this video. Then it went back to Dodge and red accents and worked as normal.

I have 2015 grand Cherokee limited, I was doing the 18.45.01 Uconnect update and suddenly the update failed on the 11 part saying "Sierra Wireless: bolo file install failed. Please remove USB stick to reset." and I've replugged the USB and tried another USB but nothing change. How can i get back my old software version or download an older one, the vehicle was on 18.11.07. PLS HELP.

Yooooo thank you i disconnected my battery for 30 min after an oil change so everything can reset. My charger had a Chrysler screen with no audio and back up camera wasn’t working. This worked instantly!

Hey Keith great video so I just updated my screen to the 8.4inch but now I have sound out of 1 speaker only will this reset help me

If sound is coming out of 1 speaker, you may need to check that your wiring is fully connected to the unit. Also, and I know this may sound trivial, but check your sound balance to make sure the speaker icon is in the middle of the diagram.

I would try disconnecting the battery, waiting two to three minutes and then reconnecting the battery.

I think Dodge has since updated their radios as I'm seeing that people with cars that are 2018 and newer will not be able to use this.

my 2020 charger scatpack won’t initialize bluetooth. tried to use multiple methods including this but nothing works to reset it. i might disconnect the battery when i get home and see if my uconnect 8.4 bluetooth starts to work again. might check after work before i go home if it just fixes itself 😢

I had to disconnect my battery at 1 point connected to back roll for about 10 to 15 minutes. And everything went back to normal so hopefully this will work for you

Tengo un problema con mi pantalla de un dodge Charger rt 2017 la pantalla se vuelve loca y cuando voy usando el Bluetooth hace llamadas sin si quiera hacerlas yo otra cosa que también pasa es que cuando esta conectado el Bluetooth y va en modo de radio se cambia al mapa y se pone toda loca la pantalla no se porqué pasa eso alguien sabe por qué ??

Would you happen to know if it's possible to have your phone connected via Bluetooth yet only connect manually and NOT have it automatically connect every time you start the car? I lose the audio in my earbuds and then I have to navigate to the proper Bluetooth connection on the screen in the car. It's driving me insane!

The only thing I can think of is to disable your bluetooth on your phone prior to getting in the car and then turning on the bluetooth on your phone when you're ready to use it.
