This also didn’t work on my 15 Dodge Journey, so I did some research and found that by finding your fuse box, which is on the passenger side under the dash, find the radio fuse, it’s fuse 131. Pull that fuse out for 6 minutes, also if you have push button start, cycle it while you have the fuse out, don’t completely start the vehicle just cycle it, you can also do the same with the key. After you put the fuse back in, start the vehicle and you should have Bluetooth functions back.
Rodney Caudill fingers crossed it works! Keep you posted. Some days the Bluetooth will work and some days it won’t. So I know it’s not the Bluetooth module that’s toast
My screen was out on my brand new work charger. The ac would show on screen when adjusted but not backup cam or radio. I did the fuse removal and cycle ignition and voila it's back. Thanks!!!!
Do you have suggestions on a 2016 Dodge Journey. My blue tooth to connect to my phone isnt working. It keeps saying " Hands free system loading" and wont come on

@@mattshuler8469 no , My radio still glitching .. i just ignore it bc my buddy who works at dodge dealership told me that ill have to get a new radio and he clearly said ill have to pay $1,148 for a new one . Lol for a radio , nah ill jus ignore when it glitches 🤷🏾♂️
@@cleeff__345hemi6 Man my screen ghost touching in my 2018 RT too and the dodge dealership told me the same thing. That I’ll have to replace it. Sadly you only can get the screens from dodge 😪. I got quoted $970 in Texas tho
Did you ever figure it out? I know it’s been a while but I have the same vehicle 2018 RT screen works but no sound. I’ve tried everything and dreading going to the dealership because I have no warranty.😢
Thank you but it didn't work for my 2020 Scat Pack. It keep reconnecting after a ignition cycle. I had to uncheck apple car play or my volume would go back to zero again which I can't explain because my iPhone is on Bluetooth not hard wired.
How do you Reset Uconnect on a 2016 Jeep Patriot Sport with MANUAL everything & "NO" computer screen...ONLY a standard radio w/Uconnect button??????? I have made many phone calls to NO a vale & the user manual is for a vehicle WITH a computer screen!!! SOOOOOO frustrating. ANYONE...HELP, Please!?!?!?
Incorrect. With the vehicle running, push in and hold the volume knob and the tune knob for up to 10 seconds or until the screen goes blank. When it restarts you will see messages of systems loading. Basically what you did there was a placebo power off and on, the radio didn’t know what to do so it powered off/on but not reboot.
scott freeman If you notice on this video the only thing that happens is the SRT splash screen comes up. If the radio was reset correctly, after the splash screen, you would see a message about obeying traffic laws and messages about systems loading, like hands free, NAV and Assist. The method I outlined is a soft reset, none of your settings are changed. If you do a hard reset, or factory reset, you will lose all your settings, it is not recommended to to a factory reset, you could also lose all the updates.
Man i dont get why your make a big deal about this video i made with my son apparently you must of made it if it was incorrect why would the company i bought my tazer from recommend to reset it like this why when the uconnect glitches theres a black screen with a x where im telling to reset how when driving can you hold the steering wheel and press the two buttons my tazer eliminates the traffic weather seatbelt ding and any other thing you wanna do but since your hell bent on it being incorrect ima make a new video with my son on resetting the uconnect just for you and it will not erase your updates or whatever your talking but im glad i gave you something to do and thank you for you comments and resetting with your volume and tune is a good way but theres more then one way to do it
Please be kind to let me know if you found a solution, because my jeep Uconnect is malfunctioning, sometimes it’s connect to my phone and sometimes it doesn’t, the radio stopped and will not turne, the gps take long to load, and sometimes will not even load at all.
I think it needs a factory update or reset mines still not working but car play works with the waze app for androids mines still covered on warranty I haven't went in for yet good luck dude
