I agree I'm back playing again but I'm a complete n00b. Only 25 hours even though I bought the game a year ago. I keep playing and then something else comes along or I go back to Tarkov. I do like this game though a lot. Such wholesome gameplay.
20:30 is a great reason why it's so important to have someone on your team with Serpent. An entire team can sneak in sometimes and set up with shotguns in the lair while you fight.
Hey! Its me Unexpected Poop. Guy who said " I got killed by sparks sniper" We thinking exactly the same thing (there is no solo, coz so many players died around) , i dont belive you are the real one when you pick up bounty :D
I could watch this for hours. Feels good to see you play like this (the non 360-Noscope flicking way of playing) and also give really good tips that even very experienced players can use. You'll never stop learning.
yeah watching him constantly fling his camera all over the place especially while melee-ing is really annoying. In one of the recent Katana videos he missed someone because hes whipping his camera around every time he attacks with it. very irritating to watch. this videos type of gameplay is much more satisfying to watch
I thoroughly enjoy the guide style videos, with lot's of commentary, hearing your thought process etc. it's more entertaining than just watching you play. 👍
I never normally comment on anything but thanks to your loadout and tips I've just managed to get the Face-Ace Hand achievement. Keep up the hard work Rachta!
Different strokes for different folks of course- But Man, solo sniper seems like a boring AF way to play this game. "Whee imma play like a little coward at 200+ meters away and only plink at players who dont even know im there then run if they approach me cuz im just here to farm my KD!" Yawn.
Also follow up I saw that you had made a Reddit post a bit ago about asking you questions but I was wondering if you have a recommended sound setting for playing? I play in a lot with my wife and friends and never feel like I have a solid sound mix. Sometimes it feels like I hear a melee from next compound but then others I miss a gun shot from 30 meters away and can’t figure out why.
Really really like this kind of content. I often feel like you need insane aim or shotgun to win 3v1 for the fast takedowns. Rifles are so hard to play EDIT: yeah you said exactly what i thought in the beginning. Any tips for rifle? Want to train aim with winfield c atm but always loose 1v3
If you are using rifles when you are outnumbered you need to control the range and angles, aim for heads and never fight more than one at the time if you can avoid it. It's easier to do with shotgun or sniper to gain their advantage, but it is still possible with rifle. Set up a lot of ambushes and if you don't get a fast headshot don't re-peak, and rotate to another angle instead. Use a lot of movement and peek different angles.
It’s really just not worth it with a Winfield but if you want to try then you’re gonna have to rely on ambushes and singling out fights. Levering is good for ambushes but you kinda have to rely on third parties, even holding a boss compound becomes much harder simply because you don’t have that 1-shot capability. Any straight up fight you take becomes risky, and even if you down someone you don’t have a good way to redown them if they only lost a 25 healthy bar.
Vetterli is great for solo rifle play, especially suppressed Follow up shots are forgiving, great sights for headshots, stealthy, and FMJ for versatility Pax fanning or scottfield spitfire is great for close range backup but hold their own in most fights anyway etc etc
@Luiz harder than shotguns for 1 vs 3 and compound fights, yes it is more difficult to use a rifle in this scenario In 1 vs 3 you need that headshot or you're pretty much dead - shotgun not so much I do understand what you're saying, rifles are real strong in the right hands - but regardless more skill based, happy it ain't hard for you
Great video and in a great format. As a newbie to the game I appreciate how you talk through what you are thinking of as you do it - these small comments bring up things I might not have thought of as a newbie. Enjoying your vids man, kep it up
At 19:39 this is a great advice! But i feel like they made the sound quieter and now you can hear foodsteps and so things. But i also changed my Audio settings maybe they for now the first tim good and people with good earphones could hear this since years
Can't wait for the salt videos of everybody calling you names and slurs for using a sniper scope while solo. People's mouths get really big when they think you're dead on the ground.
With the steel balls ammo, the bomblance is my new favorite solo weapon when I'm not sniping. If you play smart you can wipe an entire team without anyone having any idea where you are
I got the same eternal poison bug and banishing the other boss fixed it for me. It is triggered if you get poisoned as you start the banish. Worst bug I've experienced.
@@jjooee5845 There is another one where your health bars don't stay green, I got it when using an antidote while poisoned and being killed as a solo while poisoned
how do you have 250 trait points on these lvl 1 hunters. Does Crytek give you them? i was just wondering, everytime i watch your videos im always see this.
How is permanent poison bug still not fixed? I remember I had this bug a few months ago as well when I was fighting assasin with poison hand crossbow ._. I think it only happens when you banish boss and get damaged by poison tick at the same time.
Great video! Of course it's a bit outdated now, with different balance changes and tweaks, but still it's an amazing source of positioning and overall tactics! Two thumbs up!
Do you recommend trios even for newer players? I have about 150 hours into the game and I don't like being matched with random players. I have a friend I play with but sometimes when I'm alone I play Soul survivor and either 1vDuo or 1vTrio. I would assume this mostly apply to people with more knowledge about the game.
I think it is worth mentioning, depending on your spawn, skipping the first compound and heading straight for the closest double clue compound will get you ahead of other bounty teams a lot of times. And if it doesn’t get you to the boss first it will give you time to prepare for fights against teams coming from their first clue. Like Rachta mentioned, speed is key as a solo. Take every opportunity you can to gain time over the enemy teams.
@@SirHeccwadThere are 3 double clue compounds per map: Port Reeker, Blanchett Graves, Healing Water's Church Lawson Station, Fort Carnick, Nichols Prison Weeping Stone, First Testimonial Church, Pelican Island Prison
I'm just highly impressed with the fact that you saw the other player at 29:07. I've rewatched it like a hundred times now and I can't see anything there...Is there any way to train this sort of thing? I generally struggle to differentiate rubble and objects from players in hiding lol...
This video gave me the courage to go solo into trios, and at my second match I actually fought 3 guys at once after they got boss bounty and I won. Thank you so much! Great video
Are the trait points for each individual hunter and not for your account? So you should always use all the traits as you get them? Sorry, I got this over the weekend and am learning all I can... Ive got 1 extraction so far and won 1 QP.
At 29:05 how the hell did you see her. Idk if its just because I’m watching this on my phone but I don’t think I would have seen movement that quickly and that far away if I was in your shoes. Great solo guide btw.
I read somewhere that if you get the poison bug you have to change something in your video settings and apply it then change it back. Never tried it though.
I would like to know how to config the sound, because sometimes its low and i cant hear, but other times its too loud and I barely can hear my friend. My headphones are actually good from razer with surrounding sound (but i think hunt is beter in stereo)
in third game you probably meant Krag as only weapon that won oneshot you wothout 1 bar, not Berthier People using Krag saved my ass so many times, because its not only 1 riffle that doesnt oneshot you upper torso if missing 25, its also only riffle that doesnt oneshot you lower torso if missing 50 (since other riffles deal slightly more than 100 in lower torso). And its narrowly avoided being only riffle that dont deals 75 to arms
@jjooee Nah, its just not as strong as some people hyped it up, its have 2 huge downsides. 1 of them literally a reason why a lot of people think Centenial is bad riffle, and another one that bassicaly forces you to play long ammo secondary. Its have it strong side - 2 shoting people at medium to long distances. Tho again mosin/lebel/Ironsight/Obrez/Berthier have higher chance to kill with 2 arm shots when Krag wouldnt do it at around 42m
Love this man, this some of your best content yet. edit: Is Greyhound ever worth taking as a solo? Or is that more of a useful perk if you're trying to chase down a team that's rushing to extract? I guess... is it ever worth taking?
A third solid solo weapon is a crossbow. The long reload can make certain situations hairy but typically you can split up your fights enough to allow you to get a reload. Pairing a crossbow with the Spitfire fmj is my favorite, you still have a longer range option with the pistol but that pistol can be used close range in a pinch as well.
How many hours does someone needs to be good at this game? I'm only 150ish hours into the game and it's really hard for me to headshot people, let alone wall bangs them while most people kills me via headshot. I'm still at 3 star MMR with a very low KDA of 0.96. Any advice would help.
