Hi, i need help. When i updated my bios version to the latest, my touchscreen driver is missing. I've asked this before and they told me to reset windows. I've reset the windows and still there's no touchscreen driver. Can you tell me how to downgrade the bios version? And with this latest bios version (307) my laptop quickly overheats. Please help! My laptop is ASUS TUF Gaming A15. Recently, I clicked on update and restart computer at power on in start button. After when it started, it has suddenly asked me bitlocker key. I can't find bitlocker key in any of my MS account. It isn't restoring also. I dont know why it happened. In Drive label: it is showing date 16-10-2021, this date is even before i purchased my laptop. Asus can you help to get it sorted ?

I want to reinstall windows ASUS Tablet and plug in a boot usb drive into the micro port and it sees it, but it keeps going back to the blue bitlocker screen. So if the lock in only on the hard drive , how can i get to it to reinstall windows and clear the lock?

@@asus_support hi, this is my old device and my account ect i dont know anymore and i cant get INTO the drive "per your instructions" as i cant get past the bitlocker screen. Hard drive is soldered onto the board and it isnt "seen from another computer as the micro port is only used for power and cant "connect" to another computer to see drives on Tablet?. Data transfer has to be done using SD card slot. I just need to do fresh install and dont care if i lose all my old data. Is there a way to do this from the tablet or remotely from another computer to wipe drive and then install windows using boot usb? ASUS Vivo TAB "Kox" Win 8 as has limited memory. Thanks

Last week (on October 19th 2023) I bought a brand new ASUS 16X with Intel i5 12450H and Nvidia RTX 2050 , 16gb ram , 512gb SSD laptop. I'm having a small issue with it. The problem is that when I turn on or turn off the Bluetooth on my laptop the screen goes black for a second and comes back to normal. This happens all the time when I turn on or off the Bluetooth. If someone knows the solution for this problem then please let me know. Also, when I update Nvidia graphics card driver to Nvidia studio driver (using that built-in Nvidia app on laptop) the update reverts back to some windows based update when I click on update drivers in windows device manager. Apart from these minor problems this laptop is awesome.

so i got the asus ally and for some reason it just randomly decided to update bios by itself, i couldnt hit no on the update so it updated and im stuck on the bit locker screen, with now no way to access or restart the thing, help?

Hello, i was deleting files to free up space on my asus but then it suddenly bugged. And i tried restarting it and now i cannot unlock because i have to usually type my Microsoft account password to open my asus laptop. But now i cannot access it. Resetting your device will remove all of your files. Microsoft support is unable to provide, or recreate, a lost BitLocker recovery key.

Learn more about the statement of Finding your BitLocker recovery key in Windows 11/10 on the Microsoft website support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4530477/windows-finding-your-bitlocker-recovery-key BitLocker ensured that a recovery key was safely backed up prior to activating protection. There are several places that your recovery key may be, depending on the choice that was made when activating BitLocker: In your Microsoft account: Sign in to your Microsoft account on another device to find your recovery key. If you have a modern device that supports automatic device encryption, the recovery key will most likely be in your Microsoft account. For more, see Device encryption in Windows. Note: If the device was set up or BitLocker protection was activated by another user, the recovery key may be in that user’s Microsoft account. On a printout: You may have printed your recovery key when BitLocker was activated. Look where you keep important papers related to your computer. On a USB flash drive: Plug the USB flash drive into your locked PC and follow the instructions. If you saved the key as a text file on the flash drive, use a different computer to read the text file. In an Azure Active Directory account: If your device was ever signed in to an organization using a work or school email account, your recovery key may be stored in that organization's Azure AD account associated with your device.
