Hey i tried this and i got the stretched res but there is a weird line going down the middle of my screen that like mirrors what ever is in the middle of my screen.
Thank You Bro thank you! I have a weird 4k ultra res monitor and I dont have all the settings that these other tutorials have.. yours was the first to work, now I am playing on 1720 by 1080 the correct way
the reason you do this is because if you change ur res too stretched through nvidia or amd it uses gpu scaling which gives input lag and worse quality picture but if u do it this way it forces it onto display scaling which you want cause no input lag
when you see the flickering, lower your refresh rate a little bit, the flickering is a sign of your computer stuggling to handle it, my computer has no flickering and runs fine at 66 hz refresh rate but the second it goes to 67 hz as the refresh rate: screen flickering.
Can i fake the refresh rate of my elgato game capture from 60 to 360hz to match my main monitor? *because my main monitor gets capped to the lowest refresh rate if i connect the elgato, so that woul be a fix
Friend, how are you? I'm playing shooter but even so the graphics are turned up to ultra. I can't distinguish the enemies well from a distance and it happens to me in several games thinking it was due to lack of vision but no, I have a 27 inch 1080p monitor and my distance is Vision of my position is 70 cm, I see everything well but it seems that the 1080p, which is recommended, I feel that it is not generating good quality of detail despite uploading the graphics to full in several open world shooter games, do you think this will solve it?
Cant you do this on nvidia control panel create a custom res. Also if you select no upscaling in aspect ratio settings..thats the same thing as what this program does right??
@perjudicar so cru gets rid of input lag? Can you pls.clarify what you mean. Are you saying solution is to take of full screen? Is there a way to get rid of the Input lag?
@@c523jw7 Hey, what I was talking about is, when you generate a scaling on the screen from Nvidia, input lag is generated due to the adjustment that needs to be made to the screen, however, when you make a native resolution, the driver does not need to adjust it to the screen because This will occupy the entire monitor without needing Nvidia scaling, which is why the input is reduced
@@perjudicar I tried the program and got black screen issues. Nightmare so just using the normal way. I dont competitive game and don't feel the input lag that much. I notice gpu scaling is better than display though input wise for me. Appreciate the response 👍
I have a 240Hz monitor and with overclock, it becomes 280Hz. Sometimes I play at 280Hz. Would there be any problem if I switch back to 240Hz after setting it to 280Hz?
OOOOOMMMMG YOU BEAUTIFUL THING. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! I had been trying to fix my monitor hooked with laptop for SOOOOOO LONG. THANK YOU!!! Was also on the process of resetting, 70% downloaded then was going to reset but I found your video!!!! THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!
Perfect. By the way guys, you can Save the whole configuration in CRU as exe and need just double click, load EDID and then restart/64.exe in the lazy future
@@notglobost6415 yea the problem was the input source hdmi i changed it to a source called "dp" u need a cable for it tho then it should work, im on display port not hdmi now
@@bleoodbath if u still didn’t fix or just for anyone else hold power button till ur pc turns of and nothing is on power is on again when u see it do the doing thing turn it off again repeat same process 2 times wait for it will got to the settings where u can go to ur bois and factory reset it what u wanna is use one of ur restore point and it should work that’s how I fixed mine
@@bleoodbath i reset all data and that will fix the laptop/pc but you need to update back your laptop/pc version but pls dont reset more than 2 times your laptop/pc will get old version and your laptop/pc might be a lil bit problem becouse of old verison that only the chance i can do , sorry if my english are bad i hope this can be helped for you.
but on the first reset my laptop/pc was fine and stupidly I did that again and got a black screen and yes I need to reset again, and at that time I have to read people's comments if they say "no" I have to follow otherwise it it's like this
Very easy to fix, just search up on different device how to go into safe mode, go into safe mode, and then click the reset all file in cru folder. Then restart. You should be good
Yo my display scaling works but it always goes to 60hz, even though i set them to 240hz. Think i might just go back to amd drivers at this point because its driving me nuts
@@dipanuaji3338no, i stopped trying and just used the usual GPU scaling in AMD software instead. took too much time and made me so frustrated so i just gave up but if you do manage to find a way lmk too
my laptop wont turn on anymore even in bios what should I do T - T please make a tutorial about it fix maybe my laptop doesnt support it now im using my phone and most of my lessons is in it and other important files and most importantly my saved games pleassseeee hellpp
try ctrl + shift + win + b after u boot it up normally. It resets the graphics driver, which can also reset any display settings that previously were altered, I tried it on my laptop that gave me a black screen and boom, back to normal.
You dont need that cru software settings just go to display adpater settings enter list all models and select resoulution you want click apply you done
