How to Solve Issue with Zoom H5 SD Card 

I looked through my owner's manual and found nothing referring to the correct size of SD card. Thus far, this is the only place that I found this information. Thank you!

Hello. I had all of those issues EXCEPT my HD card is a 32gb. It has been working fine for several years and all of a sudden i am getting all of these errors. Even tried aq new 32gb card with no luck. Any ideas?

I have an other issue once I put the SD card in the computer I can access it but then I can't open the folders to get the files, but with linux it works so I'm using Cygwin to copy the folders but it's quite tedious.

Thank you so much. I have another related issue: I have used a 64GB on a ZOOM H2n and it gave me error / asked me if I wanted to format, I said 'yes' and then I did some recording. Now I can listen to the recording through the ZOOM's own speakers but if I try to download it the card appears empty. I even tried inserting it in the Tascam, but still it looks empty, although the recording is definitely there. Any suggestion on how to retrieve the audio? Thanks heaps!

I have the ZOOM H4N, and have been using it for about 2 years. recording around 6 to 15 hrs a month. 16Gb Kingston Class 10 used Recently on a few occasions when the session is complete and I hit "stop" it displays "data saving error" - Do you know why this is? I have formatted the SD card and it works for a little while then its the same message! Thank you

So I'm getting the same issue where when I try to record, it says there is no SD card, and then I'm getting that same "error" message when trying to format the SD card. Completely new 32GB card as well. Is there another workaround, or do I have to go buy a 16GB card? Thank you!

Well, I formated 64G SD card to FAT filesystem on my computer, then inserted to zoom h5 and works. No need to get smaller SD card. But not sure if it has some impact on performance. Will see ;-)

My Zoom H5 give this error with a 16GB card but sometimes. I have to take out and insert until it will work... but also suddenly is not working again, I tried with different cards, all the same. What to do?

Today, I encountered a problem with my Zoom H5 that took hours to troubleshoot. I then recalled that the last time I used my device as an audio interface. To resolve the issue, I simply plugged in the USB, connected it to my phone, and selected ‘SD card reader’ when prompted. This allowed the device to revert to its default setting, which is recording on the SD card

WTF?! I was using a 128 GB card for over a year and it was ok, then I needed it for my camera and replaced with cheap 64 gb and it doesnt work now and you say it houldn't have before. How is it possible?!
