Tysm for this video! I was really struggling with solving proportions because i always did it the "relationships" way, so when you explained the cross multiplication method it really helped and now it's super easy.

Mr j...i have a question...does cross multiplication apply only to proportions which cannot be multiplied or divide as whole number?..hope you get my point

When the numbers in the fractions are not divisible In the first example 30÷10 =3 the 30 number can be divided by 3 In the second one that used cross multiplication You can see that 12÷5 will have a remainder and cannot be divided directly so he used the cross multiplication👍🏼

Simple cross multiplication. 4 * 49 = 196 196 / 7 = X X= 28 no doubt about that. ✅ 28*7 = 196 4* 49 = 196 It checks out. ✅
