Here's Indian way of Doing it 3/12 = 5/x Or 3/12 * x/5 3x=60 Hence x =20 33/x = 6/2 Or 33/x * 2/6 Or, 66=6x Or x=66/6 Hence x=11

is it wrong to simplify the whole thing and just say 12x5/3=20 ∴ x=20? or 33x2/6=11 ∴ x=11? answers both come out same on my calculator not looking to disprove you or say your wrong, honestly just curious because to me it seems like im still showing all the work i need while also answering the question much quicker

It's wrong way of solving, u can't put 12x5/3 there. Cross multiplication means either u can multiply cross way or u can change the = sign and put * by changeing upper values into lower. Here's Indian way of Doing it 1. 3/12 = 5/x Or 3/12 * x/5 3x=60 Hence x =20 Or 3/12 = 5/x Or, 3x=60 Or x = 20 33/x = 6/2 Or 33/x * 2/6 Or, 198 = 2x Or, x=99

TBH im the smartest in my class i only get A+ And i dont know any thing i honestly dont know any thing my just solves it for me i feel bad for all my classmates they are doing check point and im not so i really want them to get good grades and everything its a shame
