How to solve the projector HDMI no signal?

When the projector is connected to an HD device, the screen of the projector changes from blue to black, indicating that the projector can detect the signal. The HDMI interface is normal. Generally, the projector has two HDMI interfaces. If there is no signal on both HDMI interfaces, there is no problem with the projector. The output resolution of the HD device must be too high, or the HD cable is not good enough.
All HD playback devices can set the output resolution themselves. For example, DVD, computer, PS4, etc., without this option, the HD playback device will not be compatible with many devices.
Solution:
1. Connect the HD device to the display that can display the signal normally.
2. Find the resolution setting option of the HD device, lower the resolution of the HD device, save
3. Then connect the HD device to the projector so that it can be displayed normally.

Basically what I got from this is that the reason the invalid format message is displayed is because the projector cant display certain resolutions. So if you're getting the invalid format msg then you should try to connect to another display, like a TV monitor for example, and change the resolution of the source so that it works for the projector which may take a little while of trial and error but it gets the job done. Even tho I couldn't understand this it's still helpful and thanks for the video despite you possibly having trouble speaking it was still very helpful!

When I plug in to my hdmi port the image is extremely slanted to the point where it is almost not recognizable, what is the issue causing this ,do you know by chance.?

This video actually solved my problem despite the fact that I don’t even know what language he is speaking in. I has a tuner that wouldn’t connect to my projector via hdmi because the resolution setting was incorrect so I had to connect to another projector (or you can connect it to your tv) then change the setting on the tuner. Voila.

I have a 10 I Epsom projector I had a picture till I made the mistake of doing a factory reset on my blue ray player now the projector won’t pick up any image from the player even if i go on a tv and change the resolution as soon as I connect back to the projector nothing.

I went out and got an HDMI to VGA adapter, hooked it up to the AVR output end of a 25 ft VGA cable and ran it into the PC cable input of the projector, which I confirmed that input was working. Problem solved. No need to get a new projector or repair the HDMI 1/2 inputs! Will run 1080p!!
