@@teresarenatacruz this works on my iPhone so I believe it’ll work for your MacBook. It even says so in the description www.amazon.com/dp/B0B49M3HFK/?tag=johannchennis-20
In the first few minutes you gave me information no other channel has. Simply, my phone is too old. Thank you very much, your attention to detail is appreciated
✨Thank you so much! Honestly speaking, you’ve simplified things and even gone the extreme mile explaining things. I’ve tried watching other people’s videos on how to connect hdmi adapter and hasn’t really helped like yours and saw your video when I decided to check again, don’t know why I didn’t see your video few months ago. I guess it made me appreciate yours even more. I’ve only being thinking of watching films on my happrun projector, but thank you for showing aspects of your game, it makes me want to extend the use for such too.
I just baught this as a Christmas gift and and after watched this great video i know what i need to buy and know before i receive it. Thank you so much for this video you deserve more views❤
Nice video! We bought my daughter a projector for her room and bought 2 different knock off adapters. One looked like the apple adapter, but is not. Both would play youtube, but not netflix or anything else.
Wish i watched this video before i bought the projector MotoG22 doesn't work even with the 3-1 adapter mentioned in the video, anyone looking for a mini projector and a handful of HDMI connectors?lol , thanks for the info! Straight to the point 👌
I’m still hoping for complete wireless option. 😭 I’m wondering what could make it work? I’m curious if such a thing as a hdmi adapter with Bluetooth receiver exists & could be plugged into projector to work?
I’m not sure if they have a hdmi to Bluetooth adapter and even if they do. Because of copyright laws, you won’t be able to watch streaming contents. It would be good to at least watch RU-vid. Hdmi to lightning or type c is the better alternative.
We have the white adapter for the iPhone but it still states no signal. Also plugged firestick in HDMI port and same thing. I read your reply to others about lighting cable next to hdmi port. I am not tech savvy so could you break it down more or do I just need adapter like in the book?
Thank you for your question and I’ll try to help you with your issue. Sometimes when it says no signal, it means that the device you plugged into the projector doesn’t have any power therefore it’s not getting any signal from the connected device. So, for the firestick, connect the firestick to a phone charger so it’ll get power to send a signal to the projector and the same goes for the iPhone adapter. Make sure the iPhone lightning to hdmi adapter is the Authentic Apple lightning to hdmi adapter or else you’re going to have connection issues. It may cost more than the lookalikes on Amazon or eBay etc but your gonna have great connection, great picture quality.
Wow even though I don't have this projector I appreciate your in depth guide. You also help others avoid the hassle of having to download apps that we don't need. I'm seeking to buy a mini projector and one of these usb to hdmi adaptors very soon. I have a Samsung phone so I should be ok. Its so hard to find videos that put in as much detail and information to help people avoid spending money on the wrong things. Thank you. Is this projector still working well for you now and do you still recommend it for purchase?
I gave it to my daughter so she can watch her favorite shows and she likes it. It was doing fine until the lens started to burn out because it was running 24/7 and the filter wasn’t changed. It’s a good projector and would I recommend it? It all depends on what you’re gonna use it for but I would recommend it.
I am sorry if someone else below asked this already, but I have this projector, but can't watch my spectrum app on it... it projects whatever is on my phone, including the spectrum TV app up until I actually click the "watch" button...then it stops projecting... I asked spectrum and they tell me the projector is not casting compatible...but the Happrun claims it is...thoughts please?!
I have an iphone 13 and the same type of adapter( not an original apple one tho). I’m also powering the adapter with my iphone charger like shown in videos i’ve seen. What am I doing wrong?
I'm on my second project now cause the last on got no signal from my android with all the right cable. This new on cost more and does the same thing no signal. What am I doing wrong I just need it to do portraits so I don't need much.
This projector doesn’t work with all projectors. It works mostly with Samsung phones. With the adapter that you are using with your phone, is it connected to a power source?
I believe getting an Amazon firestick on sale would be a better idea. And as far as I remember my old Huawei phone used to work with screen cast dongles to wirelessly do screen cast.
Worked for a few minutes then Netflix and Disney stopped working. Got message on screen HDCP issue. Used Apple dongle and was powered on, doesn’t work.
Hi, i bought one like that and an adapter 3in1 they said it's compatible with Motorola g and Motorola g stylus, i downloaded the app, its said the device is not connected and i cant detect any device on my screen mirror detecter. Any advice bro please?
Let me look into it but as far as I know, certain android devices doesn’t work with this projector and I believe Motorola is one of them because I have a Motorola G phone and I wouldn’t connect to it but I believe it connected to my oneplus phone.
@@Tech-This-Out Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. I used the same adapter that I told you about, and something weird happened. It worked and I could screen mirror my MOTOROLA G power, Motorola stylus and my Amazon fire 9 but every time I try to plug the USB power it disconnects and says couldn't connect to device so , I'm leaving the USB power not plugged but I can't charge my phone that way. Do you have any explanations for that please? And I really appreciate your help.
@@shelickmybraces-2723 ok. Are you able to access the menu with the buttons on the projector? If so, go into settings and look for Bluetooth and pairing and see if that works. If not, if you got the projector from Amazon for less than thirty days, reach out to them for a replacement or a refund.
Reach out to Happrun. Normally, all you have to do just pop the batteries in and that’s it but for some odd reason it doesn’t work just reach out to the company and they should send you a replacement or call Amazon toll free and tell them what’s wrong.
NOT support Dolby sound. If there is no sound when playing videos like Netflix, turn off Dolby sound.(Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Dolby Digital Output > and then turn Dolby Digital Plus OFF)
I cant connect my Poco X3 Pro with this projector. Even my Redmi Note 10 Pro would't connect. Simply doesnt change from blue screen when 3 in 1 cable is connected. Tried one of this adapters and it doesnt work. What could it be?
The only few options I can think of is, do you have a usb type c to hdmi adapter? Have you tried screen mirroring from your phone? I know most android phones doesn’t work with this projector unless it has certain features.
@@gertvanrooy428 I have a Motorola G phone and it doesn’t work but with my one plus phone it did. The projector, from what I’ve read an experienced only work with certain android phones with certain features e.g most Samsung galaxy and note phones and not much on the lower tier phones and the adapter worked on my one plus phone and not the Motorola. Kinda weird
I have the same projector, the Happrun. I have a Samsung Galaxy A71. I have a USB-C to HDMI cable. But I only get NO SIGNAL? Your setting screens look different than mine so I am not sure if they are from your Nintendo Switch in the video, or a different version of the same projector.
What I’ve come to realize that most projectors don’t work too well with certain android devices e.g. Motorola, Oneplus, lower tier Samsung phones but doesn’t have that same issue with apple devices. Only like the top of the line Samsung phones Like the S models it doesn’t have a problem with. I don’t know why.
@@Tech-This-Out damn. That is a bummer. My phone is only 3-4 years old :/ I'm hesitant to go through the process of buying that special cable if it doesn't solve the problem.
@@BBandJ01 not every android phone/tablet that has a type c port supports DisplayPort alt mode. Use google to check to see if your device supports type c DisplayPort alt mode or else the adapter won’t work.
Use an old Chromecast or get a firestick on sale and you can cast your Android screen wirelessly for most of the contents unless they're not DRM protected like Netflix and prime video (I doubt it works if yours is a Moto device as for most it don't work wirelessly and even for wired one adaptor is needed and as the OP said make sure your phone has an MHL or usb to HDMI support).
