Hey everyone If you want to change the entire rows into alphabetical order, you just highlight everything, then under the data tab there is a blue A on top of a red B with a down arrow. Just click on that with everything selected and it should be in alphabetical order with the rows moved with them. Hope this helps!
I had to untick "my data has header" and choose the Column I wanted to sort by - maybe it's in the updated version. But thank you for the short and simple video with no waffling. ;)
Thanks for this video sir. Kindly guide how did u make this video especially the display of drawing red rectangular boxes to show the selected area. I shall be grateful to u. Regards Sandeep a teacher in a pry school.
When excel has detected that your column contains numbers, even if you change the column and cell types to "text", it will only give you the ability to sort it numerically from the sort dropdown.. (e.g., "smallest to largest") even if you have a few cells which contain only non-numerical character values. Is there any way around this? It's an extremely frustrating issue :(
i have 5000 words which i want to sort by alpabatic order. but i want to sort by 3rd latter of every word(examples : apple, karrot, kangaroo in which i want to sort by 3 rd word =kangaroo apple karrot.) but this not directly occurre in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Office only sort by 1st word) can you help me or give any software suggestions!
I don't get the "sort warning" window. It automatically goes to the "sort" window. Then, only the column selected get sorted. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
You do everything up to the point of SORT. In the new version, you have to click on A (or B or the row to be organized). I will organize everything, not just that row.
You skip a vital step when talking about (for about .3 seconds) the collapse information pop up. When will someone produce a Excel video that is not a pro assuming he is talking to other pros?
