This is a short clip to show how I sound check the Talking drum. In the video, I'm using the Behringer X32 compact. *Ill be doing a video with a analog mixer also later*
I appreciate the video. Cut anything unnecessary so it's straight to your points. Mixing 6:47 ( eliminate mid-range 500hz - 1000hz ) ( increase lows and highs to preference ) Behringer Mixing 12:58 Blooper 6:00
God will bless you... Ever since I watched this video... I have never had issues with percussionist ever again.... Balancing percussions was almost becoming a nightmare for me 🥺... But ever since I watched this video, I can say my life changed... I really appreciate 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
Long overdue... Thank You. Were can upcoming USA Fuji singers plug into this community... I don't have shows like you guys do around my way, thus it all church Shows etc.. Very appreciative .
Thank you for the video, but can you please explain the connection between the microphone, the bass head and the mixer? Your mic to the bass head input, bass head output top the mixer? Please explain, thanks.
You connect the microphone to the bass head with a xlr female to 1/4 inch male cable…then you use a regular xlr cable to connect the bass head to the mixer
Baba thanks for all your tutorials. I've used your lessons and I get good sound quite alright but my tweaters don't last any more. Am I doing it wrongly please?
I connected my bass head straight to my mixer but for recording purposes my bass player’s amp is also connected straight to the mixer. It kind of sounds like the low end of the talking drum clashes with the bass player. Do you have any suggestions about what I should do?
What I would do is cut some lows on the bass guitar…. bass guitar is naturally bass heavy.. too much bass would spoil a mix.... once you cut some lows in the bass guitar, find the sweet spot where bass, kick, and talking drum can all reside in the mix
Nice content and already subscribed... I would appreciate it if you can do for drum set... there are thousands of drum set mixing on youtube but none of them treats it with respect to African tungba-esque drums still... Please I will appreciate it if drum set and talking drum are treated...how to balance the two altogether...Thank you now I have high hope
@@OVSproductions_1 pleaaaaaassseeeeeeee am begging... I followed your gangan setting in church choir rehearsal sound check yesterday and it was boom... though on an analog console still it sounded more cleaner than before... Thank you... I said I don get hope thanks to you...
