I am looking for solutions to fill gaps in window frames to stop cold breeze. Above solutions is not ideal, It has an issue. Its very common, that the gap between door frame and door is not consistent. And adding this layer would sometime leave smalls gaps or it becomes too heavy that the door does not close.

No, but you have to apply extra fource to close the door, to press the foam.
