How to Spawn "To Large For Edit Area" Vehicles

Hi! I was wondering: I have built many ships in the past but recently I decided to build a larger ship (larger than the workbench edit area) and I was wondering: How do you construct the massive ships themselves? I've heard of using magnets to connect segments to one another but I am worried if that will mess with engine piping or not. Thanks!

I keep having this issue where I will spawn my ship in the dock. It's only one ship, and on the map, it shows 3 vehicle icons. And then it popped up. WARNING a vehicle has spawned with too many shapes Then it pops up, WARNING a vehicle has spawned with too many lights. Then it pops up, and the vehicle contains too many physics. Not only that, but my ship is floating too low in the water, and there are no holes anywhere. And it makes the vehicle breaking sound when it's not even broken. I didn't have any of these issues earlier. PLEASE HELP.

Hey, So for some reason whenever i try to spawn in a plane or anything else in the addon editor i have to be on the same map that i will spawn the plane on, And before this problem i could spawn anything at a map i was not at and would teleport me with the plane.
