Precisely the French teacher I’ve been looking for! My in-person Parisian language teacher refused to say things slowly and forbade me to use my own phonetic notations as an aid to pronunciation. The class was very small and she kept an eye on my notebook and the notes I made, scolding me if I tried to sneak and write something she didn’t approve of.

@@pmm1054 Have you finished your classes? Are you planning a trip to Paris or other parts of France? What I found most useful was smiling and greeting whoever was providing a service, whether it was checking in at the hotel or shopping at the many shops, start with a cheerful Bon Jour! instead of promptly launching into your request. The second most useful phrase was "Je voudrais…merci." Translation: "I would like … " then point to what you want and then say thank you with the person’s title such as Monsieur or Madame.

@@bernadettedevereaux8694 thank you for your message. I now live in the south of France on a barge. Keeping away from Paris at the moment (Olympics). I try to speak French but my pronunciation is appalling.

This speed is better than previous ones, to practice... But from next dialogue video onwards, let us speak both the dialogues.. red and blue, at this speed..
