How to speak to a representative at SDI (State Disability Insurance) EDD Employment Department CA

IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE REGARDING YOUR SDI CLAIM, this is how I managed to speak with a LIVE person
THIS IS FOR SDI (State Disability Insurance) CLAIMS ONLY. THIS IS NOT FOR UI.
1. Call 1-800-480-3287
2. Press 1330
3. You MIGHT get a representative. If you don’t get somebody, TRY AGAIN. This method only took me 3 times before I was able to speak to somebody.

I entered 1, then the passcode they tell you, and then 330. It worked great and after two tries I'm on hold for a live person!

changed... but still.... same steps... except it's dial 1.... verifcation code... 3.... then 0.... and keep trying

@@jankishah783 this actually works. I tried this about 30 minutes after you posted this comment. When you call, immediately press 1and wait for the access code. Enter the access code that is provided when you call, then wait a couple of seconds. then press 3, wait a couple of seconds, then press 0. If it says that the maximum amount of callers were reached, you will have to hang up and try again. I tried calling back for about 15 minutes and I finally got through. Then I was on hold for about and hour. Finally I got a human that I was able to talk to. When you call back, make sure you enter the access code that is provided on the phone call. Each access code is unique to each phone call. Keep trying. Best of luck!!!

This doesn’t work any suggestions it tells me verification code required and when I put it in it says to many callers

They now require us to enter a “verification code” to enter. If i try and skip by the code, it won’t let me until i enter the code they give me. If i then try and enter 1330 or one of your other tips, it is “too many callers, blah blah” .

impossible to get thru to this agency... I had to drive 100 miles to get a hard application... unbelievable how you have money in an account for one day maybe needing it... and then what they put you thru to get it... But criminals can get your info and collect your money using your name... how does that work?

Not just that. Between 2020 and 2022, Gavin Newsom's head of the EDD knowingly allowed BILLIONS of dollars in UI fraud. People in PRISON were collecting Unemployment! I think it was $89 BILLION, and now she's being put forth for a federal office in DC!

For some weird reason when I call, I keep getting the verification input. So, it will give me a four-digit number and I have to dial it back to the verify. It is 1/18/2024 Thursday 3:28 pm HELP! @WigglyCheese
