Regardless of what turntable you have, you can accurately check to see if it's spinning at a true 33 1/3, 45, 78 etc. Easy to do - check out this video to learn more!
Hi, reacting perhaps on an old video, but I have a question. I just bought one of those suitcase players. The stylus is replacable ofc, but can you also replace the stylus with a 'better' one, say an audiotechnica one? Pleased to hear. As someone who played vinyl as a kid, I don't remember this stuff, as I picked this hobby back up. Your channel is great. It is really set apart from those other 'record snob' channels, which I like!
You talk kinda fast sometimes! Please explain again: how do I know which dots to use for US power? Does that vary among turntables? Which row for 33 1/3 and which row for 45?
When the phone is not dead center you get wrong reading and wrong wow/flutter. And whatever the reading the app is a gimmick and can't be relied for accurate reading. You see people going on about using this and claiming their TT is off when in reality it is not. Rubbish.
