The resorts in the Maldives have prohibitive prices that are around 400 euros a night for the cheapest. So the only option we could consider was to visit a local island. Dhiffushi, Thulusdhoo, Maafushi and Gulhi are the four best-known options, and after searching for a lot of information about them, we chose Dhiffushi for its beach. We traveled with our baby, at the time, 7 and a half months old and we thought that the Maldives was an ideal country to travel with a baby. We could be calm in a hotel, disconnect a bit from the COVID issue and keep the baby's routines, something that we consider to be very important, both for her and for us.
