We woke up in Bergen harbor, waited until the rain stopped and went out to the street of Bergen to explore the 2nd largest city in Norway. One of the top attractions is Mt. Floyen which is about 400 meters above sea level with amazing views of the entire city. We walked the streets, took Floibanen funicular to the top of the mountains and walked back down to the city via Bergen hillside neighborhoods, one of them Skansen. Then we visited old Bergen area called Bryggen and went looking for the best reindeer hot dogs and found them at Kroneren!! It was an amazing day since Bergen is surrounded by mountains and fjords, colorful wooden houses and one of the best seafood fish market! We will continue our trip to Geiranger driving via scenic route over the mountains and fjords, stopping at Loen first. This is just the beginning of our journey around Norway, from Oslo to Bergen and beautiful fjords around Geiranger all the way to amazing Lofoten Islands!!
