I really wish there was a better tutorial for ranked modes than just some optional rules you can skim if you go out of your way to find them (like if some of the single player stages were based around them or smth maybe?) Looking forward to seeing tips on the rest of the modes!
always run last ditch effort (LDE), it gives ink saver main, ink saver sub and ink recovery up when the enemy counter goes below 50 and maximizes at 8 subs each at 30. LDE is good for ink hungry weapons and sub weapon poking and it is especially prominant in zones, and it is a must-run on a majority of weapons and all modes
@@blackhood4 LDE is good on everything but blasters need some intensify action to reduce jump rng. For brushes, inkbrush is less gear dependent but octobrush is rather ink hungry
I'm sure this isn't an original observation but I love how SquidMin's channel is basically like a the RU-vid equivalent of a Splatoon magazine. So many different content creators provide what are the equivalent of video articles on all the different weapons and now modes. It's great!
Splattlings are great weapons for splat zones! Not only do they have long range and a very short splat charge, but their painting power at full charge is strong enough to contest multiple players at once. If you like playing ranged weapons, this would be a great one to pick up.
I have one thing I'm concerned about. I ink the area, the enemy team then immediately appeared, and my teammates and I got splatted! I'm always worry about the Ranked mode objective. I guess I'm weak at Splat Zones
Be smart when making a push wait for some advantages(numbers, paint, special stuff like this) to help u control the zone/s easier and Renumber push forward but pay attention to were ever thing is happening like flanks of pushes against you (and sub to squidmin? 😉)
Study the maps. You'll notice on each map there's always predictable paths from which your opponents will come from as well as what kinds. Anticipate your opponents' movements and catch them off guard if you can.
