Hi, Im not sure if you will see this 1 year later but I have a question…does this not divide strokes? The image I am trying to divide has a stroke, everything divides perfectly like in your video except for the stroke which remains untouched for some reason. If you have a response thank you so much!

cool, but dont ungroup - just deselect by clicking on the empty background, then use the direct selection tool to select and move/delete the parts you want to edit
