Really late comment lol but just went to the actual store yesterday and got a counterfeit. Somehow someone had returned the fragrance and swapped it out for a fake. Put the plastic back on perfect it was crazy
Rue la la is a terrible place to buy perfume . You will get fakes . It’s your fault for being so cheap and going for the cheapest place . Always remember u get what u pay for
So does the smaller bottles like the 1.7 have a different lid than this one in your video? The one I just bought is saying it's a 2018 bottle with a small circular creed symbol in the center made of hard gold plastic. I bought it off fragrance net.
Also, on the folded paper underneath the creed founder pictures card there isn't embossed language sections. The creed on top above the picture is embossed tho...
@@GazO82 well the batch number has it as CM8618K01 which I assume means 2018. The box does seem a little weak though everything else seems authentic. In my opinion my bottle cap was didn't hold much weight but it was metal at the top.
@@tavongachikumira1051 the wife got one from allbeauty as well, even though it was wrapped in plastic cellophane, it was genuine as she has Love in white bought directly from Creed, everything from the card, bottle, top and sprayer are of the same quality. allbeauty is a huge company, they wouldn't sell fakes.
But are you quite certain that fakes are not using the same codes a retail stores? Simple mistake thinking because you seen a code in a store it means the codes not fake, that's how fakes work, clone original features!
Can’t believe I have fell for a fake after the lady seller telling me that it was genuine. So after £100 down I’m left with a fake creed for my Xmas present. I’m gutted. There was even a security tag on wrapper.
@@michellecrosby1122 very late reply but that's not true, you often see street sellers pulling a phone out scaning a barcode and it coming up on john Lewis or similar sites, they are fakes.
