I love that peppery kick. Being introduced to your olive oil has helped me truly appreciate what makes a truly first-rate olive oil. I now crave the most robust olive oils. xo
Absolutely! Just keep in mind that the time it takes for a substance to solidify increases with its volume. For example, if you put a gallon of water in the freezer, it will take more time to freeze completely than just one tablespoon of water. The same with the olive oil! If you put a bottle of 1 liter will take longer to solidify than a spoon of olive oil - thanks Vitina

I haven't no. But I have tasted real olive oil & there's no absolutely substitute. I'm very diligent about dating the bottle upon opening & not storing it beyond 30 days. So I buy only small bottles. I love your personality!!
Yes, I am!! Many succumb to the system of mediocrity. My family and I chose to fight. It meant to keep pushing in the face of bankruptcy and rejection. No distributor and no supermarket wanted to sell Papa Vince Extra Virgin olive oil Olive Oil. They argue that it was just too expensive for the USA market. Believe me, creating a brand from scratch is not easy but the spiritual rewards are priceless. I would encourage everybody to never settle for mediocrity but to follow their dreams wholeheartely. Then and only then, you will find yourself blessing many and fulfilling the purpose for what you were created - THE MOST JOYFUL PLACE ON EARTH!! Now you know why I burst with happiness!!
The best olive oil I have seen is the one the trees are located in the mountains and irrigated by the rain only . When you take it to the processing plant and when it is pressed and taken to the machine to separate the oil from the gunk . You will see the oil is very clear . When the trees are irrigated regularly by the irrigation system , You will see the oil is muddy , Because the fruit has too much water . The first one , I can put it in a glass and drink it with no bad side effect . But the second one I will not dare .
Wow! Great passion and enthusiasm for what’s obviously a deeply personal commitment to doing quality work. My next visit to one of my favorite beach spots includes a stop at your new store and, if it is as satisfying to me as it clearly is to you, I hope to drop some pantry cash in a big way! High-quality olive oil is harder to find than most people think. Even when I think I’ve found a label to impress, my palette gets disappointed. Without a distinct peppery flavor, it’s just not right. I luckily found an impressive Greek brand, but I can’t count on reliably getting it from that source. I look forward to making a good deal. I hope to spend a few days in GS after Labor Day.

Honestly, I do it all the time. When I started coloring, I noticed my hair was getting weaker and looking like straw. That's when I really started putting Papa Vince's Extra Virgin Olive Oil on my hair and OH BOY, what a difference! I have my hair back
the point of identifying pure olive oil is to avoid spending money on the fake one can't go dipping bread in the supermarket bottles. any visual tell tale signs? am still researching if the brands sold in my country are any good :/
Extra virgin olive oil is best stored in a dark cool room. When stored in the refrigerator, authentic extra virgin olive oil will solidify making it hard to use.
@@PapavinceEVOO so I'm new to exploring the olive oil world...tried about 5 brands so far. Just picked up a bottle of 100% California evoo with harvest date of last month. Definitely the freshest oil I've tried so far...not sure if the taste will grow on me or not. This is the first bottle I've had with an absurdly strong grassy note....less of a note...more like a punch! Literally tastes like they juiced some wheat grass & blended it in...I'm not saying they did ..just my impression. Time will tell if my taste buds adjust. Maybe I'll try this channels brand sometime. Keep up the good work!👍
A UC DAVIS study revealed that 70% of Americans prefer rancid extra virgin olive oil over fresh one. Clearly, the reason for this preference is familiarity topped with ignorance. Familiarity because if you were raised on rancid extra virgin olive oil, that is what you identified as good. Ignorance because technology has really separated this new generation from the farm to the point that fruit roll-ups are considered as good as fruit.
@@PapavinceEVOO I just looked again on Amazon just to make sure it still says unavailable and it does and it also says we don’t know when or if this item will be available again 🤷♂️
@@welshboyuk7651 we are tyring very hard to work with Brexit. Our inventory after 60 days has not yet made it to the UK thanks to Brexit - this is what is happening!!
Yes, Your are so right!! I do not remember when was the last time I went to the doctor. In fact, my medicine cabinet is emptied. I simply do not need pills, no even Tylenol.
Something that really impossible to do is when you go to the super market to buy olive oil ,there is no way you can do test by opening the lid of bottle otherwise you have to buy it....so this is not the best way to know the real or fake...
If it's from a big Supermarket like Safeway or Whole Foods they will let you return it. Easiest returns are at the check stand when you're buying other items then you just use the return as a credit towards the other items
Unfortunately, You can't grab an olive from the tree and eat it - it's extremely bitter. Olives must be processed either to make oil or table olives. In both cases, it is very important to know the details of the process.
How peppery does it taste? I got one brand, it's very peppery to your throat but when I do the fridge test, it's not solid at all so I know what I buy is the fake one. Can you send the sample to indonesia? Cause I really surprise to find that all the olive oil brand here failed the Australian EVOO test
Every variety is yields a different strength of the peppery kick. The peppery kick is felt the most in the back of your throat. This is why is very important to breath in through your teeth with the oil in your mouth. The peppery kick should be on the mild side otherwise it will rendered the oil non like-able. I can't ship to Indonesia. Thanks for asking!
Most of the olive oil are fake today...I am from India...and I really want this papa vince extra virgin olive oil...but in india I don't think so..they are selling this pure one...and I can't buy from here.. it's so far away😭😭🥺
I wished you could but we have a limited production. We just have enough for the USA. Hopefully one day you come to visit the USA and get yourself a bottle
There is such a thing like the right time. Olives go from green to purple as they mature. Then they start decaying. When they are more green than purple, they have more antioxidants and a green taste. As they go from purple to a darker purple they have less antioxidants and more of a butter taste. In conclusion, the greener the lower the Free Fatty Acid the longer the shelf life. The more purple, the greater the Free Fatty Acid and the shorter the shelf life.
I picked up a bottle of Partanna Sicilian oil and found it very good, I bought some Marzada, and a California oil and will be tasting them next, never saw your oil around my area but willing to try it, Being of Sicilian stock, I lean toward Sicilian oil.
Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive Oil I tried to make out your name forgive me is it Bakinno, anyway I'm from America we use to have real oil in the 1970's but unfortunately organized crime took over and to this day they control over 90% of the trade according to a recent international investigation. I'm so happy I found you I'm going to try it I'm French but I know exactly what real oil looks like and tastes like at room temperature it's murky cloudy and has a very overwhelming nutty taste which you cannot find at least where in from here in Connecticut so thank you for this video i hope someday to even live in Sicily and even meet you I love your personality it's very hospitable as great Italians usually are part of the culture .........❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
Hello Maria, That's what happens when you try to be techni and then find out it is not that easy to put the button (LOL) email me your address at vitina@papavince.com and I will send you a sample bottle
I love the way you talk :) by the way thanks to explaining the subject, however i could not find "Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive Oil" in Dubai but i think i found some good oil according to your video :)
I am so sorry to hear that!! My family and I are doing what we can to make the REAL EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL available but we need more people like us - THANKS
It's a false advertisement. Their method of extracting olive oil is not traditional and looses a lot of antioxidants and use of green olives instead of ripe black ones is not a good idea.
@reality check I cannot comment on their method of extraction. Why should green olives not be used? Olives may be used at any stage from underripe to overripe. Handled correctly they can still produce EVOO. I begin my harvest when many olives are still green, and do not finish until I am picking very ripe olives. Some producers (depending on their size of operation) may produce a range of oils according to the ripeness of the fruit and bottle them separately under different labels. The same thing happens with wines and in many ways the production of wine and oil are very similar. Different varieties of fruit, different stages of ripeness, different soils, different people making the wine or oil, and numerous other factors, including the weather, all create a different flavoured wine or oil. It should be noted that not all oils are as peppery as the video would have you believe. Some are very mild. If you drink wine you will know the huge range of differences in the flavour of wines - some you will like, some you will not. The same goes for oil. Nobody can tell somebody else that they will like a particular wine or oil - it is all a matter of personal taste.
I just paid like $40 for this Papa Vince EVOO and the taste is just light and clean. That’s it. No peppery taste at all. I am disappointed. And after seeing this lady, I probably will never ever buy this brand again.
Hello Bill. The antioxidants can only be tasted when the oil touches your throat. Did you sip it or you just had it with a piece of bread? When you sip, make sure it touches your throat. Otherwise, you will not taste the peppery kick. Thanks for telling me, Vitina
We are european people. Italy/spain/portugal Using real olive oil. Everyday. Dferents. Brands..we notice.. ...bragg ...brand from there its really. Good. Olive oil..and kirklad. And other .italians olive oils From.farms...
I don't know much about Olive oil but when I view your olives they are 99% Green not ripe. I will look at your other videos to see if you show how you harvest and produce the Olive oil. And last I don't see a ring on your finger:)
I really want to try this out now! I was just at the supermarket looking for REAL olive oil but had no luck so I came on the internet to do some more research. I would love a sample. If I love it where can I purchase it in the future?
