good one. i did make a video about that last year. i think its enough to take the camera of the cell phone and set it to 3x magnifier. you can see the "basketball" surface just as good if you have a fake.

The rosette on the fake cards looks very close to Magic the Gathering cards. Looks like a lot of counterfeiters may be moving from MTG to FaB and haven't transitioned their print process yet.

I haven't run across a fake card yet in FaB, but ran across a lot in MtG, one thing I always noticed is that the fakes never felt right, the card texture, thickness or flexibility always felt wrong.
