Hey All! I was surprised by the lack of info on youtube about scam/gank hauling contracts in eve online. So I made this! Super helpful links below that I mention in the video!

I havent tried anything on the Hypernet yet but I heard there is a lot of isk to be had! May your nodes always win!

of course, there just isnt a lot of info about scam/gank contracts out there and usually the advice is just "check history and watch out for them" lol glad it helped!

That first contract with 100m reward is to null sec so that would explain the higher reward but the risk is also way higher, and while you may not be able to do, could possibly use the drop of box, then if it is SOV space chances are you get killed before getting close enough to so unless i was in that corp/alliance i would not take it.

I just ran across this video and had to comment... You are wrong about one thing. You can deliver to inaccessible player stations through the cargo deposit. Overall, I do agree that you're just paying(collateral) to be content(ganked)

very good video ... and brings me to say this is why i decided to be able to fly every ship in 1 race and some in ORE ... so i have all skills in one faction to 5 so never need someone to hull my junk around

i used to do interceptor hauling, still do on occasion, just not much profitable work right now, i have played since 2013, thought i was scam proof... i was having a few beers one night (contrary to name i'm not a alcoholic), accepted a contact from a friendly structure, and it was going to perimeter with a name close to ttt, i accepted without inspecting closely and i was half way through trip when i clued in... was out 2 bil! i felt so stupid! live and learn!

hmm just checked it out... but in the lower volume there are really weird contracts... 500m3 37 jumps and only 20k payment... or 3m payment for 22 jumps but 24,43 billion collateral?!? why should I even risk it... lol

Isn't it possible to complete a scam contract to a station without docking permits by using the upwell cargo deposit? At least in w-space I can put cargo in without having docking access

I think if its in low power mode you cant. Honestly I dont remember since the abandon station update happened around the time of this video. Regardless I usually don't accept contracts going to a player station ever unless its on that PushX trusted list in the description

So is this outdate? That hamburger menu to view more information for a user and see their past contracts is completely gone for me

Noone wanted to haul for me imthinking cause my reward was to high?!?!? I moved my minning and buying gear from ammar to caldari space....minning drones....sentry drones...and some caldari rockets all about 125m total..... Made a contract for 53 jumps, to start to finish......set collateral to 150m, reward for 750m. Title was" moving gear to new home solo player...." Was like 12k m3 i didnt wanna move that...😢 ....noone took contract......loat my money and had to move it all day myself....what did i do wrong?!?!? Was not bait or sus ...legit contract.....sadage....

One thing Idk if its accurate but happened to me is a station/structure with docking services but when you get there it lacks its core so in the end you can't do anything? Anyone can confirm or am I just dumb? :P

I honestly haven't done a lot of hauling recently and this video was made well before the station core announcement. I'll have to look into it, hopefully there is some kind of 'no-core' warning about it. If not, I would follow the rules I mentioned in the video. Be sure you can dock in the player station first before accepting the contract, its dropping off in a player structure is where the real risk is of scams. Hope this helped!
