Yesss the black stones are so confusing...but luckily my favorite black stone is black tourmaline which look different from the other black stones. Great video as always ❤
This was so helpful, I have a blue calcite which I definitely thought was a celestite as that's how it was sold! I would love to see a comparison of citrine, lemon quartz and golden healer as I really struggle to see the difference! I have golden healer and citrine but always skeptical if they are actually what I think they are, since they look very similar 💛
So I have this big heart piece that is somewhat heavy, is a very pretty periwinkle blue color, is polished and shiny, has some white veins on it, but no reddish-brown spots. Also, it kind of chips easy. The person at the shop wasn't sure what it was but thought it was angelite, after watching this video and doing some research I'm pretty sure it's blue calcite. All the pictures I can find of blue calcite and angelite look so similar so it's hard for me to tell the difference, but when you said blue calcite is shiny and angelite is matte that was actually extremely helpful!
Thank you for dropping so much KNOWLEDGE on us. I love you videos, I always learn so much & Ive been into crystals for years now. I appreciate the time you took to help us. You are awesome!
Good stuff Barbie! I have all three of these in my crystal collection, and I very frequently see them misrepresented as one for the other in sale listings. Just a quick side note, my sweet cocker spaniel used to be terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms. She has her own celestite geode for those times. I tuck it next to her belly or under her back leg, depending on how she's laying down. She snuggles it like a chicken on an egg and goes from being fearful and nervous to calm and peaceful within ten minutes. The change in her demeanor really is something to witness, and it works faster than having to medicate her, with no side effects. I'm looking forward to new installments of this new series. Good luck on 10k! 💪😎
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I would definitely be interested in seeing one comparing/contrasting green calcite, aventurine & jade(or another similar green gemstone such as peridot, amazonite or prehnite). Watching your video, I was able to correctly identify a piece of blue calcite in my collection and think I might have some green as well but it doesn't have the same waxy surface? I was thinking maybe aventurine or prehnite?
This is an amazing series!! Im so excited for what is next!! I recommend one about the difference between ocean jasper and moss agate...when they have similar colors or are in smaller forms (towers, palms, tumbles) at times it’s hard to tell the difference!
Barbie im addicted to your chanel it helped me so much and im in scotland i saw a lot of amazing pieces located in usa or canada wish we have more choices here ✨
Great video, will look forward to seeing more of these, I love the concept and so helpful! :) Do you know: Is gypsum a type of selenite, or is selenite a type of gypsum?
Aquamarine, blue lace agate also look like these stones too. +edit+ I dont mean to sound like Indont like the video. I found it very helpful and a creative video topic to boot!
I'm looking for a video that compares these stones to blue chalcedony. Can you tell us about that stone and what constitutes the differences in prices between these blue stones? Like Turkish blue chalcedony is pretty darn expensive!
Can you do a video and differentiate also watermelon, strawberry quartz, cherry quartz, fire quartz please..I have those crystal but still confused if I bought a fake one..thank you
Hello dear, can you please tell is a 1.5 kg heart ❤️ Celestine too expensive? The seller is from Singapore. The price she quoted me is about US $112 ( in SGD $150 ) but also the courier cost is not included. Please advise . Thanks 🙏
Can you explain how you ship and get it cheap because I just came from one of your other videos and it said you can ship boxes under 1 pound for under $5
Hello! can someone tell me if my blue calcute is real? its corresponds to all the criteria but it also feel a bit waxy? maybe it was covered in something? its not wet but it feel a bit slippery and/or waxy? tia
There's an awful lot of crystals being misrepresented! Especially when they are polished, it's very hard to tell the difference between Blue Calcite and Celestite. If buying online, I''m thinking it's probably safer to only purchase Celestite in its Geode form.
I'm pretty sure I just recently bought a fake Smoky Citrine off of instagram, not sure if I should reach out to the seller and tell her. She was very sweet, but it kinda sucks for me. In the photos, it didnt look like it had bubbles, but when it arrived it looked like the crystal was sweating inside. Lots of little tiny bubbles it looks like, and it was very warm when I opened the package.
It might now be fake, it could just be inclusions that sometimes appear like bubbles! You can DM me on instagram, let me know I sent you since I get so many dm's I don't want to delete yours on accident!
