I think I like this method better than any that I have seen. I will be doing this one soon. I thank the heavens for YT...there is no way that I ever plan on paying anyone to do my hair ever again. IJS
You know what’s funny? I started my RU-vid channel because I knew how to do certain hairstyles and there was either no videos or the ones that were uploaded were trash lol. Let me know how it turns out.
lol same.. i cant braid well but i could always crochet. i was planning on paying someone to braid in the spring twists then i came across this video and i was like JACKPOT!! i can twist and i can crochet. perfect! gonna try this this weekend
Hi , i did my crochet braid end August it lasted me 6 weeks. I crochet mine but i did not braid the entire hair i braided the two inches that was it. otherwise it s never ending. the purpose was to reduce the time of installment. I also cut in half the hair i installed in front because i wanted a layer shape...i used the same hair but ombre and but used only two bundele because i found it was too thick. This hair is so manageable , and so light and it s as it shows on your video. I would recommand to rinse the bundle with water and acv prior to installing. Also you can use some conditionner, this way you add extramoisture to your hair. It s an additional protection. I might try a darker color next time , my natural hair color is a 4 but i am tempted for 1 or 2... because it really looks nice on you. Thank you for the video , also your are really beautiful !
I just ordered the hair and excited to try this method! I am 21 weeks preggers and don't have energy to do my hair every day and I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for someone to do my hair. This is a simple method, especially for those of us who don't know how to add in hair when doing singles. Thanks so much for uploading this video and for giving tips on how to install and up-keep!!!
I received the hair same day through Amazon and attempted thus style. I couldn't figure out how to latch with the tool so I ended up doing my best with adding the hair the traditional way. I braided about an inch then continued with a two-strand twist the rest of the way. I definitely need practice, but the style is very nice.
These turned out great! If you do not mind sharing, how do you wash the hair before installing? Also, how do I do it without tangling the hair? Thank you!
Love the tutorial it looks beautiful getting my hair done this way in a couple days what moisturizer did you use on them you said you moisturize twice a week
Love it I been going to salon to get my hair braided this is my next hair style your method is easy I will definitely be doing this myself thanks for the tutorial
Thank you! Thank you! I have Done this style 2 diffrent ways never like this! But Each time i was so disappointed because i would literally wake up and have twist on my pillow! I am going to give it one more try like this and pray that it works!!!!!!!!!!! :)
That is gorgeous i will be trying this on my hair as well as my daughter hair. Can you make a tutorial on how u washed your hair with the spring twist in please...
Used the same technique yesterday for my braids but my parting was wack cos I was so tired to stretch my hair and do the right thing LOL will do this again!! Thanks❤️
Style looks amazing! Would this be a good vacation hair though? Since the ends are “loose” and aren’t dipped would they unravel if one is constantly in water swimming?
BRILLIANT!!! Lol you have no idea how many videos I've seen for this style... Definitely will be doing this method except I may split the hair in half because I want it to look super full and more curly!! Will update once I take my current style down 😍😘 you're awesome
Thanks for the tutorial! Also, I found in a bunch of videos that most use two spring twists for longer length so then the twists aren't thin. Maybe that will help!
Very pretty! I have been trying to find this crochet technique of braiding before twisting for months! Thanks so much for sharing! Did you split each spiral twist into two twists before applying or use one whole twist throughout? And did you use any products on your natural hair before twisting?
This is THE BEST spring twists I’ve seen posted! I don’t know if you have answered it but how did you wash it exactly. If you do this style again, can you do a “spring twist wash day” tutorial please!!🥺
Great tutorial, thank you! Can you clarify what you do with your own hair when you go from braiding it with the spring twist hair to twisting it? Do you just put all your hair in one side of the twist? Please someone tell me quick, I've washed my hair (and braiding hair) ready to start in the morning 😁😁 👍🏾
This is the technique I am using because I have a TWA that is growing out and I Do NOT want to use Rubber band method. I have been loving being Tension free but I’m also ready for a Lil bit of length and new look. So here I go... wish me Luck Queens💕‼️
Love how you installed those twists 👏👍....New Subbie here 😊 I will definitely be doing this next hairstyle for getting my hair to grow. It's looks secure so it can last for at least a few weeks
I washed my hair regularly it focusing on cleaning my scalp. The hair did not unravel at all since it’s synthetic hair. It actually caused the hair to lock together which is why I advised to not keep it in for longer thanks 6 weeks because your hair will start to loc with it.
Also I didn’t use anything in the hair. I just moisturized my hair. Mainly oiling my scalp and adding oil to my hands. Rubbing it together. Then applying it to my hair.
Girl this is pretty, for those who are obviously"pros",not everyone can grip the roots of their own hair so is she found a technique that's easier to execute,,why not🤷 real,,fake,,, whatever,, it's pretty 😉
Sooo...my hair is super soft and I cant get them close to my scalp and tight...I don't want to do the rubberband method...I live the way you installed the hair. HELP!!
