Murray’s always gunks up on my braids so I stopped using it but yours came out super cute! Did you notice any build up? I started using good old JAM gel to slick and retwist my braids
Chicago Rose this comment is me exactly lol I just started using the protein jam wii the red top from Walmart. Murray’s was fine while the braids are in. Edge control is too stick and annoying when I take down. But the jam seems drying idk what to use man. Maybe a different type of gel ? 🤔
Brandi the JAM has been good so far just to retwist and freshen up my box braids. I use the teal one I think. No flaking or drying so far but I try to oil my scalp too. It’s all about try try again with finding the right hair products 😩
Chicago Rose the Africa’s best herbal oil is so good. It’s sold at dollar generals and Walmart that I know of. $2ive went back to greasing my scalp too and it’s been going well girl
