pro tip - if doing this while the pan is still on the block, to avoid getting chips in the oil pan, load up the drill bits with a thick sticky grease to catch the chips.

I know that trick, But its not something I would do personally so I didnt mention it. I know taking off the pans is a hassle cuz you gotta drop the cross member, but I wouldnt want to risk getting any shavings at all in there.

To be honest to much work lol. Step 1: drill a hole in oil pan. Step 2: weld a fitting Step 3 run a line Happy days Also to note use grease on your drill bits, or a vaccum next to your drill
