How To Stake And Support Dahlia Plants. Growing Dahlias, Growing Cut Flowers, Get Gardening
Trying to get ahead of things, and the hopeful growth of these Dahlia plants. It's so much easier to add the supports before the plants start to grow!!
Bamboo cane supports are now going in and the first supportive tie has been added. I use jute twine around the canes, to act to contain the plant stems and keep upright, as the twine breaks down after about a year and can go straight into the compost bin after use.
