I agree wlth the take risks part. That's huge. The biggest mistake people make at tryouts IMO is play timid compared to how they would normally play. Don't play to not make mistakes. Play to make plays...
SimplySoccer dont quit if things go rong and They sometimes will Just keep dont quit keep doing your best!!!!!!!! am working day night dosent matter só dont quit!!!!!
I'm a winger and I have a tryout in two days so I was really glad I found this video it's SUPER helpful!!! At the very least, it boosted my confidence. I just need to take more risks shooting-wise, and calm down when beating a defender so I can move more quick and precise without getting all worked up about it.
I’ll be trying out pretty soon, I think they’ll ask us what position we are able to play. I’m thinking abt will winger, but I’ve never played real games so I’m not sure what it’s like.. what are some quality’s a winger needs to have?
Aatish messi jhina just get hyped before your game once you get on that pitch you scream as hard as you can and also think about this the pitch is your house and are you gonna let anyone boss you around in your house?
Aatish messi jhina I have absolutely terrible communication. I'm really shy. But when I had my first tryout I stepped out of my comfort zone and was the most talkative on the field. Just yell your heart out. The other players won't think you're weird they'll think you're a leader. Good luck!
I have a tryout on tuesday im really inspired there is about 40 kids but only 22 can make the team i was a bench warmer but ik that ive surpassed that im a good player i shoot hard i pass good many ppl think im bad cuz i was a bench warmer but ill prove them wrong
I'm female and I'm have aneamia. I try my best to work hard and stay healthy but its hard because I hardly eat. I'm a good player, I usually would play in defense but my new coach told me I have skills and understanding and he moved me to midfield. Can I can any tips at all? Please?
TonzTheGamer wow ive itp which relate to anemia , im very talented coachs call me neymar lol but this health issue stopping me from becoming pro player in first league im almost 17
You and me are very similar. My coach has also recently moved me to midfield but I'm used to playing in defence. Just try your best! I'll be supporting you from over here :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)!!!!!!
1) I had 5 days of tryouts during the last week of february, i was not prepared since i played hadn't played real soccer since november since i play rec. 2) i have asthma so i cant run for more than 1/2 a mile without slowing down and gasping for air even with my inhalers 3) i was hurt the first day and never completely healed up during the tryouts week 4) i played for a total of 40 minutes in the full field scrimages and only got the ball 4 times and messed up all 4 times 5) i played better in defense during the last day of tryouts than i did as a winger (my best/favorite position) all in all im 98% sure i didn't make the team (i will let you guys know if i made it)
Now that you know your position, and you have some football experience, keep trying,be the first world class player with asthma, show the world its possible
I had a trial 2 weeks ago,and I was calm, fit, hardworking and as a defender I just did more of the tackles and passes. But I wasn't too vocal and being a leader, because almost everyone at the trial was behaving that way. I passed the trials, and have to prepare for the final trial by April....What are the tips I need???
No worries! Try and be a little more vocal next time. It's not the biggest deal, but if you are stepping up and leading while no one else is, coaches are bound to pick up on it.
I have played on a recreational team all my life. I know what you’re thinking, “what a noob,” and I don’t blame you. The reason I’ve stayed on rec is because I have friends and this past season, I’ve had enough. I don’t mean to seem rude, but my team plays like 4 year olds. I’m fed up and I really want to get better because football is my passion. So I signed up for competitive tryouts and I hope this video helps me. Wish me luck!
I have my tryout today actually, I’m so nervous 😬 I feel more calm now at least, I had three weeks to prepare and I feel like I really used that time well! Thank you for this video! ❤️
im from england, im 12 and i have a trial with sheffield united's junior team(u12 academy) in 2 days, i was nervous but this vid really helped me out, thanks!👊👍💪
I have a try out on December 10 in two weeks. I've been having awareness since I saw the poster so I registered ASAP. My weakness in the game is my stamina and my near sighted vision. For that, I've been working out a physical routine everyday which improve my ability and endurence. I'm going to the gym too, mainly to run on a treadmill for my cardio workout. The strengths I have according to the video are being the leader on the team as i had experience with leadership camps and talks. I'm coachable but I'm afraid to ask for help because of the environment I grew up. I made a commitment to myself to walk into the professional soccer path and thanks for giving tips by making videos like these.
I watched this after the tryouts but believe it or not I did these things such as not being lazy and being a leader. The coach put me as defensive even though I asked to be striker, but it's okay because I did fairly well and actually made the team!
Hii! I had my tryouts like 3 days ago!! I got the news if I made it or not and guess what… I MADE IT IN!!😁 I used all the stuff you gave tips on!! Tysm man! God bless you!
I have try outs next week! I know this video was posted long ago but please wish me luck, I already made it on the shortlist so now it’s the last trials to make the official school team!!
I have a 2 week tryout with leganes in spain in 2 months time. i understand that 2 weeks of having individual time with the coaches is enough to showcase my talents! I want to work on my Spanish though😆
Simply Soccer this video helped me get into the second best team. Thank you so much. I tried to be loud and call for the ball and coaches noticed it. Thank u again
I had a trial few days ago ,in the first trial I performed good and scored a goal but in second trial I got hurt on my tongue and blood was coming and my attention was not going in game ,but my coach knew I am a good player and he selected me
My goal for freshmen year is to make the varsity team and the tryouts are in November (four months from now) and I am doing as much as I can to get prepared, this video is making me feel more confident because i now know on what to expect. I still can’t believe I made the Rush soccer tryouts though, now time for high school soccer 🤷🏻♀️
I was sitting on the couch eating a glizzy when my mom called me about Select tryouts. Here I am sausage hanging out my mouth and playing video games🧍♀️
I made my schools jv soccer team and I’ve made so much progress because I started strength training and practice 4 months before tryouts and that was one of the many tips I got from you and your videos Thank you so much
I didn't make my school team this year but after I watched this video I feel so motivational and im trying to keep on the 30 days training..hope that I can make the team next year
Something that wasn't mentioned but is really helpful, wear something that makes you stand out! Some people do bright shoes or a certain hair style, but whatever you can do works. This helps coaches identify you and you stand out in their head! I have try outs next week, and I'm addicted to these videos right now!
i have trials at june and this video will help me alot without any doubt... thanks for the tips they r really very great and i have to be good at dribbling and creating chances.. subscribed uh mate😉💖
I have tryouts tomorrow! please wish me good luck. I run track everyday at school and I love running. I never played soccer that much but I am really interested and have been only playing soccer for like 2 days. I dont think that is long enough but I still hope I make it.
I have a tryout on Wednesday for a tournament and they pick only top 3 year 7's and top 8 year 8's and substitutes and I'm in year 7. don't know if ill make it wish me luck. I'm training every day now cause when my brother was in year 7 he made it in and he was better than the whole team. I'm doing 20 minute runs every morning and more exercise till Wednesday. wish me luck!
My tryout is today in the evening. The thing I need to focus on the most and its something I'm good at, is leadership. I try to lead my team and take them to victory ✌🏼
My school doesn’t do soccer tryouts but like I’m disappointed in myself for not staying strong as this is the first time I’ve done a sport in my entire 17 years of live
so my travel team are collabing with Bayern Munich in doing future footballers for kids like me. I'm going to California to do a tryout from like 100 kids and there gonna choose 1 kid to go to Germany and play with the Bayern Munich Academy. I hope I get chosen to go to Germany and this video helps me with the tryout in August wish me luck.
I have a tryout in 3 weeks! I played in Italy for 4/5 years but then I stopped and now I want to come back. I hope I'll do great :) thanks for your advices!
I got tryouts tonight and tomorrow! I need to work on communication the most, and foot-skills next. Edit:Welp I made the C team. Better than nothing I guess
