I'm no expert but today, I'm sharing all the tips that have worked for me over the past 2.5 years that I've been on BookTube. If I make any sense, this video is all about how to start a BookTube channel. XD

Great video! All the points have been well covered 👍 If I would have watched this back in 2016/2017 I would not have taken the big, huge break I had taken from BookTube. Also the key is consistency, RU-vid algorithm works on consistency! As for the self promotion - I think people are well acquainted with RU-vid that they do not need a reminder on every video. I just feel like it is not a forrm promotion but a form of request so I stopped doing that 😅 so better keep it minimal. In my personal opinion, if people like your content, they will subscribe.

Wow! Very helpful! Liked watching it. Though mine is a mix of book and literature vlog and not a pure booktube your tips are helpful. Very engaging! And yes of course I agree with your views on sub for sub subscription and taking a break and prioritizing peace over everything else. As long as you don't lift content from the book and give credit where needed, you're okay. :)
