I'm not sure how long this gentleman started with GIDC but I remembered going to them 4 yrs plus ago when I was starting my business. I was bringing in showcases, Maniquins, and other items, they were of no help...I received zero concession or help. I hope they are more useful now. The Taxes on the Ports are burdensome, the folks incharge trying to balance the budget on the backs of small businesses while giving the big business concession for everything.
To be honest, I went to GIDC when I started trading in Grenada back in 2015 and found it to be a waste of time 🙂. I think there are different divisions within the corporation and Royston started in 2021 so there is some hope!
