Your comment regarding doing the quote as soon as you get back to the office is very true. I have been guilty of the same crime especially when busy. Going forward from this pandemic I think there will be a big dip in the p & d sector. Everyone Seems to be painting something at home just now! I’m focused on the older customers who will want the work done and have the cash.
I think you really do need to spend time focusing on your "ideal" customer profile. You can then concentrate on being the best you can , for that type of customer
the thing that i dont like is people expect you to give them a quote not a estimate i dont see how you can give a quote you take your car to the mechanics they wont give you a quote cause they can't the same with vets etc the building trade decorating is the worst industry in the world for the amount of work for money then people expect extra's for free and a lot of them refuse to pay for extra's i think the biggest fear is getting a bad review etc cause anyone can go on your site and write what ever the hell they want the whole thing is just wrong and customers aint loyal the min you can't jump when they say they soon mess off to someone else even if your worked for them for years etc
Hey TJ. Just found your channel today watched a fair whack of your videos back to back the last couple of hours. I'm not starting a Painting and Decorating business but have a property rental business. I am in the market for an airless sprayer to give my properties a once over every couple of years, but also to do the fences etc... that go with them. I am trying to decide between a Wagner 350 or a Graco GX21 have you any thoughts? I'm open to other options as well. Keep up the videos. Cheers J
