I just opened my business and I really needed to hear this. I know a lot of people struggle with imposter syndrome and it hit me really hard this week and my poor husband just hugged me while I cried about not having any sales my 1st week open.

Try making advertisements like make posts on instagram or Facebook book and make your friends share or repost it and the app will push it to people’s recommended. Hope this helps!

You should make a video discussing how to start a crochet business legally for example getting permits and registering the business and what not, obviously people would have to contact a professional that can help them more with requirements for their area but im sure a lot of people would find these kinds of tips helpful and help them be more confident starting their business ^-^

it varies from country to country, though... you should find a professional whos knowledgeable in finance for small businesses and ask them any questions you might have. Trust me, if you find a professional, that will be the investment of your life.

this is exactly what i needed. i am 13 and i crochet and i wanted to start an easy shop, ihave had my easy shop open for almost 2 years now and i only got 2 sales. this really got me un motivated and i stopped listing things and i just stopped trying. I've been trying to grow my youtube channel and i haven't been getting that many news on my shorts. but recently have just really wanted crochet to be my full time job in the future so this really helped to try different things to see what my audience likes. thx so much Jenna for the tip ur awesome

Thank you Genna! I love your energy. I learned to crochet in high school. The reason it took so long was I am left handed and my relatives were right handed. It wasn’t until I was taking a class that the instructor had copied the instructions on clear media and turned it over for us lefties. I was off to the races. Making granny squares and afghans as I could not make clothes. Recently I have been making market/project bags. So many states are discontinuing plastic bags that I believe there is a market for them. Your information is very helpful. Thank you.

I’m quite recent here, and I love your videos and how you share your knowledge and experience. I live in Portugal, and adapting your tips to the Portuguese reality, though I’m betting on the international market. I’m struggling with two things: 1. I love crocheting so many different things that I haven’t figured out what would be the products to sell 🫤 2. My notes, patterns and ideas are all over the place and need to organize everything.
