Thank you, this is the best video I’ve seen on this blower, which I fired up for the first time this year, today. I sure wish they would made one more reverse speed on it! Otherwise, love it.

I use non-ethanol fuel in all my power equipment. It's available here at the pump in many locations. I keep several five-gallon cans on hand at all times. Since it's from the pump at the service station, it's only a little higher price than 10% ethanol fuel.

And you most likely do not have many or no carburetor issues due to gas going bad?

Great video, do you have a video on installing a fuel shut off on these engines?

I replied to your other comment. "Thank you. I do not modify customers machines. I try and educate them on the fuel to use so you do not need to modify the machine. read up on Aspen 4 cycle fuel. If you use it in your snow thrower, you will not need a fuel shut off. Here is a link. www.aspenfuels.us/knowledge/what-is-alkylate-fuel/what-is-alkylate-gasoline/. I would love to see a inline fuel shut off kit but it is hard to install one without a major modification and I'm sure someone will make it"

Do you have idea which snow blower is the best, or would you rather not say? Great video.

Most two stage snow throwers like this one will perform just fine for many years. You just need to perform regular maintenance and get to know your machine. The better you know how to use your machine in the conditions your in and along with keeping up with all adjustments, most machines will last a very long time.

Thank goodness for RU-vid "how to" videos. Haha I have a Cub Cadet model #31AM5BTR710 My mom bought it years ago and I swear each big snowstorm, we'd have problems with it starting up. Idk why my mom decided to buy this huge *** snow blower/thrower for the tiny driveway. I do like to help the neighbors out though definitely with the ends of their driveways. She's been gone for just about 2 years and now I have the home. Earlier today, I tried to start it but then realized I was out of gas. Weird because I know I put sea foam in it late fall and there was plenty of gas. I didn't know about sea foam until my uncle brought it up about 2 years ago. He'd help my mom since he knows this type of stuff. I put in gas and an couple of ounces of sea foam about 20-40 minutes ago. I tried to start it but I'm thinking I have to wait a bit for the gas to do whatever. I don't know this stuff. I'm embarrassed. Like every time I'd try starting it, I always forget about the turtle thing...throttle. Well duh makes sense. Thank you again for the most common sense tip. I live in Wisconsin and this is the first time this winter we got snow that didn't melt right away. I'm going to try it again after this comment. I do want to say thank you for your right to the point video for people that might be like me. The manual doesn't say the some of the things you brought up. Also I didn't know about using non ethanol gas. I wouldn't be surprised on why that would be the reason why I always have a hard time starting it once a year. Idk but thank you again. I'll update this comment after it starts. Lol

I got it started yesterday but then it was chugging. The only thing I could think of is the spark plug. I was able to change that today and finish the driveway. More snow coming. Thank you again for the help!

There are a few deferent size engines they use on this model. You will need your model and serial number from the sticker on your machine normally located below the pull starter housing on the transmission cover. Go to the Cub Cadet Web site in this link and you will be able to find the manual .www.cubcadet.com/en_US/operatorsmanuals.

It sounds like your doing everything good but I would recommend running the machine every 45 to 60 days to to get the good fuel through the carburetor from the tank. Most likely the fuel that is in the carburetor may have gone bad. Watch this video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qPoyyRTMhoY.html if you would like to diagnose your machine.
